Authors note: I'm sorry for bad punctuation in advance. I'm not really editing anything here. If anyone feels like adding anything to the story, message me and we can discuss ideas.

"Why do you have to leave? I thought you were going to stand up to her." 

"I have to do this. I'll come back for you soon."

As he got in his car and drove off a tear slipped down her cheek. She sank to the ground, if someone saw her, no one came to comfort her. She sat there for a time, she wasn't sure how long. Finally, with tear stained cheeks and dry eyes she rose. She walked through the run down house, ignoring the murmurings from the stoned teenagers in the next room. She didn't join them and instead walked to the backyard, looking for grey eyes. She found her sitting at the bottom of the slide. 

"Hey."

"Hey."

"Will you be okay?"

"Maybe."

"Come here."

The cloudy sky eyed girl slid off the slide and onto the wood chips. Silently the girl sat next to her. Cloud eyes put her arm around her as she leaned into her chest.

"It's not okay now, but it might be."

She shook but shed no tears. They turned on their sides and laid on the slide, facing each other. They used cloud eyes' blue scarf as a pillow. Cloud eyes slowly stroked back her hair as she stared into the distance. After ten minutes she suddenly sat straight up. 

"Come on. Let me braid your hair."

The girl sat up as well.

"Okay."

She sat between cloud eyes legs as her hair was gently combed out with fingers. She flinched a couple times as the knots were untangled. Cloud eyes continued combing but more gently each time. After her hair was brushed, cloud eyes braided several tiny braids.

"I'll finish when everything okay again."

"Okay."

She stood up and faced the sliding door back into the house. She stood there a couple seconds, considering but apparently decided against it. Instead she went to the fence and climbed over. She laid in the neighbors hammock a while. 

She fell asleep.

Kay guys, please leave comments, likes, and suggestions for the next chapter. I don't want to give too many details for the characters because I don't want it to be how it is with movies.  If you have a suggestion for a character and really want a certain look for them, I'll write it. But for my characters it'll probably be up to your imagination. I still haven't come up with names but if you have suggestions please message me or comment them. If you have a drawing for your character ill try to figure out how to include it in the chapter. Because i don't have any strong ideas for a plot, you guys can comment what you'd like to read about. Basically everything depends on your interaction. Hope you enjoyed!
