The bird in my room

Tweek, tweek- as I lose my calm,

Tweek, tweek - as I glorify self harm.

The little bird in my room, never stays silent, never loses its fight.

Always reminding, guiding me towards my sanity and making me strong.

My saviour,my preserver, my true friend,

The little bird never letting me down, always bringing me up in all forms.

Never did i imagine, there would come a day I wouldn't hear,

My world stills, everything shatters and I still can't hear a thing.

My little bird, my little friend lays frozen on the bed of roses with no sound.

I beg and plead every deity, everything stays calm.

Little bird laying as still as a house, relaxed and stone like with movements close to none.

With a heavy heart, and a bleeding soul do I bid it a goodbye,

My little friend, my companion taking half of my might.

I wish peaceful slumber to it above and beyond,

All the nations, all the universe over everything combined.

Knowing very well that my room has forever calmed.

No bother, no storm could ever make a sound.
