It was just a few weeks ago when I got dropped back off at my large, secluded, country house in Pennsylvania.  It was a kind of hot afternoon when I was dropped off and now I am sitting in our music room in our house.  Cara on one side of me and Patti on the other.  I was at the mic and had a guitar in hand, Cara was on the drums, and Patti had a guitar, too.  What happened a few weeks ago was interesting, so I guess you'll want to know.

~~~~~~A Few Weeks Ago~~~~~~
I sent the text and then put my phone in my pocket.  I turned to walk back into the house, permanent VIP passes in one hand, camera in the jacket pocket, phone in my back pocket, and autographed pictures in the bag with band merch in it in my other hand.  As soon as I turned around, Patti was right in front of me with a huge smile on her face.
"So, what's in the bag?" She motioned toward the bag and Cara nodded in agreement telling me she wanted to know, too.
I smiled and linked an arm in each of theirs and lead them toward the house.  "You'll see once we get in the house and I can tell you all about my lovely, almost two day experience with my new best friends."  I smiled again and hauled them toward the front door of the country house.
We got up the steps, through the doors, and barely into the living area before Patti and Cara had unlinked our arms and ran to the living area to sit on each end of the black leather couch.  I smiled again, teeth showing, and walked into the living area and sat in between them.
"You guys ready for this," I asked pulling the bag onto my lap and patting it.
Cara was the first to talk, "Hell, yeah! Show me, show me, show me!"  She practically vibrated in her seat as she jumped up and down on her butt.  Her red hair was flying all over the place underneath her signature black cowboy hat.
Patti laughed and then looked at me, "No, seriously.  I'm ready and I'm guessing she is, too."
I laughed at her and Cara and then smiled maniacally.  I pulled the bag closer to sit it up right on my lap.  "Okay," I said in a tiny voice, "Closer your eyes."  As they did so, I opened the bag and Cara squealed silently as she heard the bag opening.  Plastic rubbing against plastic, I pulled out the first piece of band merch.  "Okay, open your eyes," I said with a smile on my face.
They opened their eyes and Cara squealed.  Her band merch was the first thing I pulled out of the bag.  It was a black Ashley Purdy t-shirt.  His face was huge and took up most of the front of the shirt.  I made the shirt, but it's okay, because I made all the merch.  On the back it read: Ashley Purdy Nerdy Birdy, and then right on the front under his face and shoulders was his signature in red, made of the same material his face and shoulders were.  Her face lit up and she squealed again.  I laughed at her and handed it to her.
"You better love me, because Ashley and I worked very hard on this shirt!" I laughed as she practically ripped it out of my hands and hugged it so tight I thought it was going to melt into her skin and become a part of her.
I looked at Patti who was sitting there, trying to look patient, but looked like she was going to explode with excitement.  I smiled and rooted in the bag until I found her band merch and pulled it out.  I pulled out a leather jacket that had a huge BVB symbol on the back with all of their signatures in red and on the back where either of their names, for example: Andy's says, "Prophet," hers said, "Patti."  She smiled and slowly reached for it as I handed it to her.  I smiled and then said, "Andy helped me make this one.  I didn't exactly know what to make you so, we just kind of winged it."
She smiled and hugged me, "I don't care! It's amazing!"
I shook my head and then looked at both of them, "You don't think I'm done, do you?"
