Chapter 2

Once practice was over I went back to my house with Ang and Rose to start getting ready for the party. “Aunt D, I’m home.” She comes walking out of the kitchen looking like she’s in a hurry. “Oh hi Sky. Hello Angela and Rose. I’m sorry but I really have to go, worked called. Don’t get into any trouble.” “Well we’re going to a party at the football captain’s house,” says Rose, smiling innocently at Aunt D. “Ughh. Fine just be careful. I love you all and be safe.” With that she left. We all took a shower did our hair and make-up and then got dressed. Angela was wearing leather pants with a tight black tank top and black-heeled boots. Her blonde hair was down in waves with minimal make-up. Rose is in a tight silver dress and black heels that make her at least 4 inches taller. Her hair is straightened and she is wearing make-up that brings out her eyes. As soon as I step out in jeans and combat boots she pushes me back into my room. “Where do you think you’re going looking like that,” she asks eyeing my outfit. “Um…to the party?” She starts laughing her ass off. Then she walks to my bathroom and turns on my curling iron and starts going through my closet.

45 minutes later my whole appearance has changed. She curled my blonde hair, put me in a tight little black dress. She made me wear black suede heels, which make me at least 5’11. She also did my makeup, which consists of eyeliner, mascara, and red lipstick. Once we arrive at the party Zach immediately takes Ang to the dance floor. Rose starts flirting with a guy who I think is on the soccer team. I make my way over to the drinks and grab a beer and pour it in a red solo cup. Someone whispers in my ear, “You look so sexy right now.” I turn around and there is Noah with a smirk on his face. He’s in black jeans and a black button up. His hair is messily spiked. “You don’t look too bad yourself,” I reply trailing my finger up and down his chest.  Oh dear lord, this boy gives a whole new meaning to the term “six-pack.” Remember when I said I wanted to lick whipped cream off his chest, well know I’m thinking about substituting that for chocolate sauce. “….so how about it?” I look up suddenly and give him a confused look. He smirks. “Like what you see?” “Actually, yes. Very, very, very much.” “So, how about a dance,” he asks raising an eyebrow. “Why not.”

He takes me to the dance floor where we start dancing to Red Nose by Sage the Gemini. All of a sudden the music suddenly stops. “Ughh not again. This is like the third party where his stereo blew.” I walk over to Chad who hands me a mic and 200 bucks. “Thanks,” he says. “Whatever.” I start walking up onto the stage where the DJ is, Ang and Rose already there. “Ready girls?” “Always,” they say together. Ang takes the DJ’s place and begins to play the track for Neon Lights by Demi Lovato. I start singing while Rose goes back and starts dancing. After singing that and Put It In a Love Song by Beyoncé and Alicia Keys with Rose, he finally got a new stereo. When I got back to the dance floor Noah was there. “Wow. I never knew you could sing,” he says with a look of awe in his eyes. “Well I mean I just meant you. If you knew it would be kind of weird.” He starts laughing. “I guess. Well I heard there’s a game of Truth or Dare going on in one of the rooms, wanna go join?” “Sure.”

Once we got there I saw Rose, Ang, Zach, Chad, Nicole and some other guys I’ve seen around school. “Alright rules are simple,” says Zach, “we spin the bottle whoever it lands on picks Truth or Dare. The one who spun chooses the dare or truth and the other has to do it. Then it continues.” Zach spun first and it landed on Noah. “Dare,” says Noah. Zach has an amused glint in his eyes, but not towards Noah, he is looking at me when he says, “I dare you to have a 5 minute make-out session with anyone is this room.” All of a sudden I feel lips on mine. I’m confused for a second, but slowly it starts to register. Noah chose me. Once we start his arm snakes around my waist pulling me closer. My hands go up and tangle themselves in his hair. When I refuse to let his tongue enter my mouth he starts rubbing small circles on my lower back with his tongue and bites my lower lip. I moan and let him enter. Can I just say that this boy taste amazing, like mint chocolate chip ice cream. Once the five minutes are up I reluctantly pull away. It’s Noah’s turn to spin. It lands on me. “Truth,” I answer. “What do you find attractive about a guy.” I’m taken a little by surprise at his question. “Well I love a guy who has a six-pack, tattoos, who smells good, his hair has to look good, he has a good sense of humor, he has kind eyes, big soft lips, strong shoulders but are soft enough in case I need to cry into them, big hands that are rough but that I know will be there to catch me when I fall, someone who actually listens when I talk, and he has to be amazing in the bedroom.” He looks a little taken aback by my answer, and quite frankly so am I because I was being completely honest. Normally I would have given some sarcastic response, but I felt the need to be completely honest while looking into his eyes.
