It was that time of the year, the Valentine's Day dance was in two weeks. Brittany had already purchased a new dress, and knew who she dreamt of going with. The question is, will he ask her?
Brittany slams her locker shut and sees Alvin across the hall looking at the poster for the dance. She walks up behind him. "Hey Alvin watcha looking at?" Alvin turns around startled to see Brittany standing there "Oh.... I... was.... thinking of joining the The chess club", pointing to a flyer on the bulletin board. yeah right, Alvin joining the chess club, like that's happening.... She sarcastically replies, "well good luck with that" and with that said, Brittany walks away.
After school, Alvin thinks about his conversation with Brittany. He wished he had the confidences to ask her to the dance, but he doesn't. He talks out loud "How am I going to do this? She saw me standing at the poster for the dance, this is humiliating" "what's humiliating?" Theodore asked walking out of the school doors with Simon. "Oh...it's nothing Theodore" "Are you sure? You look like your in your thoughts" replied Theodore with worry, "Yeah I'm fine don't worry" and with that Alvin walks in the door Dave built for them. "Something is in his mind that is bothering him and I want to find out what it is" Simon said with wonder. "Simon I think we should leave him be for now, it really isn't our business", with that Theodore went into the door leaving Simon outside.
