Introduction to Merlina

Merlina's P.O.V

The streaks of light that passed through the blinds of my window woke me up just like they did every other day meaning it was time to shower and get ready for a day full of drama at my high school Chesterfield High.Oh where are my manners,Hey am Merlina Sanders....the typical high school nerd but secretly the richest teenager alive.My mother is Verona Sanders,owner of Là Belle the biggest  and best fashion and design industry in the business and my dad is Matthew Sanders the CEO of a chain of hotels and shipping industries....yeah thats big but i dont want the fame of being the kid to america's power couple....so i just stay in the shadows...my parents honored my request not wanting me to go through the hustle yet....Am 16 years old and i have my best friend Darla  Kayleen who knows absolutely everything there is to know about me including my parent's...Anyway back to my routine.I step into my large shower and let the hot water flow over me and relax my tense muscles.I grab my bottle of Rose Weld shampoo and pour some on my fingers and massage it through my hazelnut-brown hair.After a fairly long and relaxing shower i apply some lotion onto my tanned skin and blow-dry my hair making it cascade like a waterfall all the way to my waist.I grab it and tie it into a messy bun,grab a large navy sweater and some grey sweatpants.After slipping them on  covering my petite body,i slid into my favorite pair of trainors,grabbed my Lord of the Rings backpack,phone and headphones and ran out the door,down the stairs to the kitchen.I found my parents being served by the maids,i greeted them,sat down,had my share of breakfast,then peeked them goodbye.I stepped outside and was still soaking in the warm sun when my driver Craig honked the  car signaling i was running late.I slid into the sleek black Maserati as per the routine Craig stopped a block away from school.I jumped out,thanked him and ran to school.I arrived just in time to see my best friend Darla  impatiently waiting for me at my locker.
And that ladies and gentlemen is my life as Merlina Sanders.
