"Rei." A female voice called out to him. He turned around, hearing the sound coming from behind him. It took him a few seconds to register the voice, but then he knew that he'd have to follow it.

"Carla?" Rei breathed to himself, following the sound of her voice. Rei soon found himself in the middle of a bright flower bed, the colors almost blinding him. Surrounding him were daisies, roses, even flowers he couldn't recall at the time.
'I know this place.' Rei thought to himself as he turned around constantly, almost reminiscing in the memories he'd made.
"Rei, do you remember this place?" Carla's voice echoed everywhere, as if she was standing next to him. A silent tear dripped down his cheek as he struggled to hold his posture.
He nodded his head in answer to the voice, his own voice merely above a mouse's squeak.
"Yes, I do Carls. Yes, I do."

Blake dodged Emerald's upper swing before kicking out her assailant's ribcage. Blake then quickly jumped up, connecting her knee with Emerald's stunned face. Emerald stepped back slightly, the attack surprising her.

"In terms of power, you far surpass my abilities. However in terms of combat," Blake started before using her semblance to leave a shattering clone behind her, exploding. The sudden explosion caught Emerald's attention, distracting the assassin long enough for the flying cat faunus to again nail her in the head with her knee. Emerald staggered back, holding her forehead.

"They never told me you were this good." Emerald complimented quietly. Blake ignored her comment, focusing on winning their little skirmish. Emerald suddenly snickered.

"But I'm better." Emerald said, dashing forward and landing three quick punches, two to Blake's face and the third to her lower rib cage. She suddenly spun around, her heel connecting with Blake's cheek. Blake was knocked to the ground, a bruise forming on her cheek. Emerald walked three footsteps from Blake, back towards the crowded streets of Vale. She sighed in annoyance before stopping. Turning around, she readied herself for another bout.

"It just sucks that you were injured before this by Cinder and Thordin, that big idiot." Emerald said while waiting for Blake to get off the ground. Blake did so, staring defiantly at her attacker. Emerald noticed the sinister look in Blake's eyes, and in doing so her eyes widened.

"You..... you couldn't have......" Emerald stuttered. Blake smirked for the first time, a black aura coming off her body.

"You obtained the inheritance." Emerald said as Blake suddenly dashed forward, her black sword extended.

"Nether Panther's Destruction Claw!"

Yang traded blows with Mercury, determined to hold her ground against the legendary assassin. Mercury was merely toying with the girl, smiling as she traded blows. He suddenly grew annoyed at their small engage. He struck her lower abdomen, sending the blonde brawler flying. Yang crashed into several trees, breaking the trunks until she finally fell to the floor.

"Woah. Too much." Mercury said as Yang slowly stood from her position. Blood flowed from a wound above her right eye, her left arm was bruised, and her lower abdomen was also bleeding from a wound that had been caused by the trees she was kicked into. Yang's hair suddenly lit on fire, her strength increasing with each passing second.

"Ohh boy. Here we go." Mercury said, suddenly changing his attitude. The enraged Yang suddenly jumped forward, striking continually at Mercury. The gray-colored assailant suddenly ducked, dodging a fist and landed two quick kicks, sending the enraged blonde flying again. This time, however, she caught herself and dashed forward again.
