Leona slept soundly in her memory foam bed with the purple and blue comfort and sheets. Bang! Bang! came from the outside of her bedroom door. "Leona get up!" yelled her mother, Francine, Leona threw a pillow towards the door "I'm coming," she groaned from underneath the covers.

An hour later Leona popped out of bed groggily rubbing her eyes. She stumbled to her jointed bathroom and washed the sleep from her eyes, patting her face with a purple towel Leona stared at herself in the mirror. Mentally preparing herself for another dreadful year of school, she grabbed her glasses from the medicine cabinet and made her way downstairs, still in her leopard print pajamas. Her blonde pig tails swayed left then right as she bounced off the bottom stair into the thrust hold of the kitchen.

"I woke you up an hour ago," Francine stated giving Leona the evil eye. "I know, I'm sorry...I'm just not prepared for today and I kind of was sitting there wishing the day away," she said honestly. She plopped in the chair by her older brother Cody, he was only a year older than her but acted like he was twelve years younger. Cody pulled at her pigtails "Aren't you a little to old to still be wearing these," he picked. "Aren't you to old to still be peeing in the bed," she teased. Francine rolled her eyes at the both of him "Now y'all stop acting like babies and finish your breakfast before you're late." She stated.

Cody giggled "She was talking to you," he said. Leona stuck her tongue out at him and laughed it reminded her of the old days, when they were kids. She swiftly grabbed a sausage and waffle from the plates Francine had set out for them. She drowned her plate in waffles then started to eat. Honk! Honk! The pound honking entered the house from the yellow limo that drove her to school every morning. Leona jumped up forgetting she wasn't ready and ran out the door to catch the bus. "Leona you're not even dressed sweety come back your brother will drop you off!" Francine yelled to Leona. With an embarrassed look she trotted into the house to find Cody breathless from laughter. "Glad to be of entertainment," she huffed.

Leona ran to her room and started to get dressed, she stared in the mirror at her outfit; punk and black crop top, black high waist jeans, pink high top converses, pink hoops, multiple black bracelets, and a pink head band. She walked into the bathroom and started to curl her hair, blonde curls flowed down her back as she bounced down the stairs waiting with her books in her hand. "Hurry Cody I don't want to be late," she groaned irritated. Cody sighed and grabby his keys to his 4 door. With a satisfying smile Leona walked out to her brothers truck, about 30 minutes later Cody pulled up to the school house.
