I wonder if you'd ever look at me the same,
as I do when I look at you.
Perhaps a little stare too long,
or a thought too strong.
A smile that weighs the pros,
and a frown that detects the con's.
The urge to say no, but the itch to suggest yes.
A hug that's consumed by heat and passion,
and a touch so close it'd tear the distance.
Will it convict a sore happiness or will the temptation lead to broken hearts?I'd found the profound joy of light in dark paths. Witnessed warm hello's,
along with the emptiness of sad goodbyes.
I've visited the grounds of pro's and con's,
only to find there's no difference that subsides.
I felt the steam of your touch, the pain of the rush. The melody of nobody but us,
broken tune by humility of broken trusts.
I saw the mirror of your eyes reflect mine,
as our mind intertwine.
Love was our casualty, but faith kept us in gravity.
No broken-hearts - none fell - none shattered.Xoxo, Tessa'LaBelle
