Unforsaken

Prologue

Beep beep beep..
"Ughh" rooling over I tapped the snooze button on my phone. "5 more minutes wouldn't hurt" I tried snuggling back into my covers to get more sleep. Not even 2 seconds later my little brother came bursting into my room, the echo of his giggles bursting everywhere in my room. "Wakey ella, mommy made breastfast fwor us" he says in his cute baby voices. I chuckle at the way he pronounced the word breakfast. "Did she now?" I ask in that weird high pitch voice people normally do when they're talking to kids or cute puppies. He nods with much enthusiasm I almost thought he was gonna fall over. "Well you gotta hurry up and get to it before I do or it's gonna be all gone" I say while making a 'nom nom' noise chasing him downstairs and into the kitchen causing fits of laughter to bubble out of him. "Oh God guys not in the kitchen while I'm cooking" our mom scolded us while setting plates down full of eggs and my personal favorite...bacon..Oh yeahhh. Scarfing down my food while my parents have their usual conversations on politics and new guidelines at work that have already been broken by skanky assistants. I check my phone for the time and nearly bolted upstairs to get ready for school. I take my shower and do my everyday business while rocking out to Blink-182. I throw on some high wasted black shorts, a white long sleeve crop top that said "piss off" and my vans and beanie. Double checking everything to make sure I had everything packed, I was almost out the door when I heard my mom call out. "Honey, we need to have a talk when you get home, love you"
Little did I know my whole life would be crumbling to pieces and everything I though I knew would change.
