"OH MY GOD!!" I screamed "MUM!!!"
I ran over to my brother who was unconscious on his bed. I tried to shake him awake. Nothing. I ran over to the phone on his bedside table and rang 999.
"Hello!?" I screamed down the phone. "Hello!?!"
"Hello Ms, calm down, calm down. Now, what is your emergency, your name and your address" the man at the other end of the receiver replied.
"Uh, m-m-my name is Ali Johnson and my brother has passed out, he was breathing really quickly and I-I-I don't know what's going on! Please help me I live at 32 Brucelands Grove," I said frantically.
"Okay," the receiver replied calmly, "We're on our way,"
I yelled for my mum again and again but she didn't reply. I ran down the stairs to find her listening to her music dancing around the basement humming to herself.
"MUM!!" I yelled
She looked up from her cleaning and our eyes locked. She could sense something was wrong and turned it off. We both ran up the stairs to my brother. Mum stayed with him as I ran down the stairs to greet the ambulance. They ran up the stairs to my brother and began attaching cords that pumped fluid into his body that were unknown to my mum and I. My mum was sitting there on the floor in shock just watching the paramedics take him downstairs to the ambulance. I ran after him taking my mums hand as we jumped into the ambulance sitting by my brothers unconscious body. When we reached the hospital the paramedics rushed him through a pair of double doors. The paramedics wouldn't let us through, blocking us out from my brother and whatever would happen to him.

The last time we went to the hospital for my brother was when he turned 10 and I was 12 years old at the time. He had a batman themed birthday party (I know right) but we did everything we could to make him have the best birthday ever because you know the whole double digit thing was pretty big to him. My dad had come home from work with a huge batman cake and loads of presents. It was 4.00pm in the afternoon and we had invited family over for the afternoon to hang out. We ate cake, watched batman and opened all of his presents. That was until my dad announced that there was one present he hadn't opened yet. He described it as a quite large, two wheeled object and that it was hidden around the yard, to get it he had to find it. The whole family was running around the yard looking for the present. My brother, of course, was the one to find it. He came running out yelling happily and grinning. He then went back into the bushes and brought out a brand new bike, the one that he had been asking for for ages. He hopped on his bike and rode out the back gate into the lane way that runs behind our house. The whole family gathered in the lane way watching my brother gleefully riding up and down the lane way. That is until he crashed into the fence lining the back of our house. My dad ran over to him to find that he had cracked part of his head open. We drove to the hospital and the doctors took him through to the surgery rooms. He had to get 9 stitches in his head and every since he has had a scar, it's slowly faded but it's still there.

The nurse came back out to the waiting room and called mum and I into the room my brother was staying in. He was laying there, still and peaceful. My mum walked over to the chair by my brothers bed and as soon as she sat down she burst into tears letting all her shock out. I began to walk over to the chair sat beside my mum and I sat down next to her. I grabbed her hand and held it tight as we sat there in silence. I reached over to hold my brothers hand and I squeezed it, tight. He squeezed my hand back.
Hope you guys liked it :) It's a bit shorter than the first, hope you're enjoying it!
