(Intro)
The frigid night air nipped at her feat begging her to send warmth. The moon bowed in her presence and the sun hid for it felt ashamed because it could not compare to her beauty. The winter wind howled her name as she spoke to it in a soft yet powerful voice. It called her "Percilla!.... Percilla!...." she was older then time itself yet young with the beauty of a young glowing bride on her wedding day. She held all in her hand with gentle pride yet anger of betrayal.. One thing could make her snap but many could save her.. Her dainty figure held the secrets of time and the strength of the mountains. She is Percilla. Who has yet to realize what great future awaits her. Tragedy, Heart break, suffering and pain. Love passion joy and peace...

(Chapter 1!)
Darkness fell across the lands, silence peaceful and yet something was horribly wrong. The winds were not speaking her name or asking questions? But whispering none the less, a cold chill ran down her back.. a warning...she stopped dead in her tracks.. as did the footsteps behind her.footsteps? He had begun to follow her about a mile back stopping every once in a while trying to "fool" her. Of course he should have known better. underneath the snow white hair that fell to her ribs the sun kissed skin and shimmering gray eyes almost black and full of mystery, with lips ruby red and soft as a rose. she had a glow about her like a bride on her wedding day, she was as old as Time itself but younger then a new born baby.

She, at first glance seemed helpless defenseless and easily fooled like many the girls her age. The fools, they were so easily used and manipulated into falling "in true love" but truthfully falling in love with the idea of it and the price tag or lack there of. Which was all the reason he had begun to follow her. She could hear him walk up behind here another chill.. another warning from her guardian wind.. a hand on her shoulder.. heat rushed through her.. he did not realize with one more wrong move his life could very well be in her hands..

to follow a free spirit is one thing, but to touch one with the intention of harm was deadly for a free spirit drew their strength from the earth herself and although lately there lovely planet had been betrayed one too many times by a few free spirits who wanted only power, it still gave its strength to those few who used it for love and protection a privilege she was oh so honored with after her meeting with death at the young age of birth.... the man stood still for a few moments she could hear his hheart beat it was rather slow. And quite eery not unusual now-a-days but something was different about his, it sounded hollow as if no blood were being pumped by it, but why was his touch so warm? He spoke "don't try anything Stupid" the voice was rough sounding yet almost rhythmic and beautiful.

She closed her eyes and breathed in deeply a breath so deep the leaves around her spun around her feet and the wind picked up. The earth presumed to hold her feet steadily to the ground ,Too bad he was the one doing the stupid thing here she would have loved to listen to him speak a little more. His grip tightened "let go of me!" Her voice boomed he held on even tighter, wrong choice, with her head tilted towards the ground a sly smile on her face and a flick of the wrist the wind sent him hurdling through the night air, he began to fall too the earth once again a lift of her arm a vine shot out to catch him and hung him from a tall unusually white tree with Red fruit. What a lovely color red was she loved it which was unusual most free spirits like earthy colors not her, red it was a passionate color full of life and the loss of it she appreciated the color. One of the fruit fell upon him.knocking his senses back into that pitiful brain of his. She laughed his head snapped up "your... your.. your a.." he stammered "a free spirit? Why yes I am!" She smiled "spare my life! please!" With the wind under her feet she walked upon the air up to were he hung. He reached for the gun on his waist and pointed it at her "you fool" she growled and with one powerful whack upon his head he was gone.. "God have mercy on your soul". His body fell to the cold ground and began to be swallowed by the earth. "One less killer on this earth I guess" she grabbed a fruit and began to eat it, funny the fruit would only pick for her no other human or free spirit but for her and only her, she had yet to figure out why but it was a faithful tree if it makes any sense.

she often wondered what it was that drew her to that tree at the lovely age of 5 she was in a physical sense 19 now but mentally wise beyond her years wise as the low layers of the earth one might say and yet she had so many things to learn and that tree was one of them. The rest of the night was calm and beautiful she walked along the worn down path with its overgrown trees and shrubs roots popping up here and there a few flowers and many weeds she marveled at all of them while thinking about the days events her day had started off slow as usual but ended with a bang, but she didn't mind just as long as every day at the end of the day she could be satisfied with the knowledge that she may have saved one more life, Finlay reached her hidden log cabin and began to start a fire in her fireplace, slowly drifting off into a deep sleep surrounded only by the sounds of the wind whispering the sweet lullaby her mother sang to her as a child the sounds of her wolves roaming her territory daring anything and anyone to enter a pop of the fire here and there and the distant hoo of an owl with its all knowing and all seeing eyes all while the night fell deeper and deeper into the darkness with the rising moon and glowing stars.
