“Shut it Tay!” I whisper-yelled at my friend Taylor, he has been yapping for the last five minutes about a girl he likes.
He shot me a glare and continued stuffing the leather jacket he saw earlier today in his bag. Rolling my eyes I continued spray painting everything. That is until I heard the sirens. Tay and I looked to each other with wide eyes.
“I though there wasn’t an alarm!” I shouted to Taylor.
“I guess it was a silent alarm.” He said as we went out the backdoor to the alley.
We took off running. Water splashing as our feet hit the cement. Of all nights it had to pour rain tonight. Hearing shouts behind us only pushed us to run faster.
“Split up!” Taylor shouted as he turned a corner.
“What!” I shouted at him. Was he crazy? Apparently yes. That only worked in the movies.
But he was already gone. I turned down a different alley and continued running. When I couldn’t hear them anymore I stopped and leaned against a wall. Panting for breath just made me realized how out of shape I am. I should really work on my running. Maybe go to the gym.
“Gotcha,” An overweight cop shouted, interrupting my thoughts.
Turning to run the other way I realized there were four cops surrounding me. Gees, did any go after Tay? Accepting my capture I put my hands on the wall as they demanded. After checking me for weapons and handcuffing me they took me back to their car. Well, that was fun.

“What happened to your partner?” The cop asked for the fifth time.
They still didn’t get that I’m not going to say anything. I learned in the car that they hadn’t found Taylor. Another cop came in and motioned for the one that was talking to me to go to him. They talked in hushed tones. By the way they kept glancing at me I had a feeling I was the topic up for discussion. The cop that came in the room came over to me and grabbed me by the arm.
“Get your meaty paws off me.” I said as he pulled me up.
After snatching my arm from him grip he told me I could make a phone call. Who should I call? Taylor could be anywhere right now. There is no way I’m calling my mom; she’d tear me to shreds. My step-dad would just hand me over to her; maybe I could call my brother. After inserting the change into the payphone I dialed my brother’s number.
“Hello?” Jacob answered.
“Hey Jacob, how’s my favorite big brother?” I said sweetly.
“I’m your only big brother. What did you do now?”
With a sigh I told him, “But don’t tell mom and dad.” I said quickly after I told him the story.
I heard a heavy sigh on the other end, “I’m sorry sis, you’re on your own this time. I’m out of town right now visiting Julie’s parent.”
Julie was his long term girlfriend he lived with. They have been together since their sophomore year in high school. Now we’re just waiting for him to pop the big question. After saying bye to Jacob the officer took me back to the holding cell I went in when I first got here. Not too long after he walked away did he come back, only this time with two other people. My parents and they looked pissed.
“What are you guys doing here? I asked.
“I would ask you the same thing if Jacob hadn’t already told us.” Mom said. Damn him!
“We are going to hold her tonight until the trial tomorrow.” The officer spoke to my parents.
“Perfect, it might do her some good.” And with that they left, great.

“Please stand for the verdict.”
I stood up behind the table at my trial. It had been pretty boring. I zoned out for the most of it. My parents both came, my mother still with a scowl. We didn’t get along much.
“I hear by sentence Bobbie Sharp to twelve months in Bright as Light juvenile camp.” The judge then slammed down his hammer thingy say we were dismissed.
My eyes were wide when I was grabbed by the arm by an officer. That was way less than the punishment I thought I would get.
“Don’t let the name fool you.” The officer holding me said.

New story, woo! Okay so I don’t get what goes on in the police station or court room so bleh!
