Walking towards the library Chris couldn't help but think about what his uncle had said. 'How could he possible believe that me and Beth will get married?' he thought. Opening the door Chris looked into one of the corners of the room to see Beth and Theo curled up on the chair reading Robin Hood.Looking at them he couldn't help but notice how similar they looked. The same way that they gazed at the story was the same as they both had a spark of excitement in their eyes. They also had the same mischievous and innocent grin. Shaking his head he called out "Beth. Theo. I want to know if you would like to go and visit your grandfather tomorrow?"
Theo looked up smiling in pure happiness. Nodding his head the little boy turned back to the book. "I guess that means yes" Beth said laughing.
"Since i have the day of tomorrow we shall go for the whole day"
"Okay" and with that she continued telling the story of Robin Hood to the little boy until he closed his eyes and feel into a deep sleep. As Theo slept Beth started on her lessons and this carried on until it was time for dinner.
The next morning Chris, Beth and Theo left the mansion and took a carraige straight to the outskirts of town and deep into the country. It had taken about an hour to get there but it was worth it. The house looked old but peaceful. Walking up the path Theo knocked on the door.
Ole was an old man who hair had aged with him but looking at the face infront of him he swore he haad somehow grown younger. "Nora" he said softly.
Beth looked at him as the name Charles had called her came back again. Chris looked on in shock as the name of his uncles friends wife was called.
"Um. Sorry but no i am not Nora. My name is Elizabeth Winters but you can call me Beth" she said slowly.
"I'm Ole and it's a pleasure to meet you miss. I'm sorry it's just you looked like my daughter for a second their"
"No worries" Letting them inside they all sat on a couch. They spent the morning with Theo and Ole catching up and Beth and Chris answering and asking questions about each other.
"Wow you must have every guy looking at you from where you come from. You are so pretty i bet you look like your mother" Ole said.
"Actually i wouldn't know" Beth said looking down
"Why not?"
"I was adopted into my family i have no clue who my biological parents are so i do not know what they looked like" Ole breathed in for a minute and looked at her. Looking closer into his eyes Chris could clearly see the spike of hope in his eyes.
As the day drew into a close Theo, Beth and Chris made their way home.Silence surrounding them. Saying a quick goodnight to one another Chris began to think. ' Something is not right here. Beth has been called Nora twice now from two different people. Theo and Beth look similar in ways that should only been seen through family. And their is the fact that Beth is an orphan from a different time. Could it be possible that Beth was originally from here. And if so could she possible be the child Harold is looking for?" With these questions Chris went to sleep.
