Oh how we were, oh how we are, oh how we could be
From here to there, always somewhere
Oh blind would you be if you could not see,
Oh I am a star that shone in the night sky,
Brighter than the moon, so very, very high,
Oh how foolish it would be to not see my love for you
For my love reaches down towards you like doves descending in two
Though, you are formed of the soil,
You show me your love through relentless toil.
Oh like lovebirds we both are,
But alas we must reach from afar,
I from the heavens, up in the clouds.
Your presence from the soil, though to you I am vowed
Oh we have fallen in a love so deep
But i must say farewell, so for you i will weep.
Farewell my love, my all,
To you, I never again will call.
Though our emotions were hidden,
They have been found, alas we are now Forbidden.
