MC and Hiro's engagement

Today I sit in the back of LRN with the other Black Foxes as they celebrate MC and Hiro's engagement. I can't help but feel disappointment rise inside of me. Not over MC and Hiro but over the occasion. When will I find someone and be like them.

A loud sigh slips past my lips as I stand up and get ready to go. I really don't want to see baby Riki or whiney Tatsuro again. I wave bye and head on my way, pretty sure no one saw me.

I start walking down the summer lane of Japan thinking of MC's wedding she wanted a fall wedding meaning in the next few months she'll be married. I stop and think what would it be like to have a winter wedding? The snow flakes drifting around my beautiful bride. A soft blossom colored lips tilted in a soft smile only for me. A large groan and a exasperated sigh leaves my lips once again.

I continue to walk until I bump into something or rather someone and hear a whimper. I then notice blood smeared on my jacket. I follow the sound until she a beautiful young woman who maybe a bit younger than me with (E/C) eyes and (H/C) hair. She groans as I hear shouts coming our way. I grab her arm and pull her behind me. She sways as if drowsy due to fatigue and blood loss. Once at my hotel I call for a doctor as I lay her down. Next a sharp knock happens at my door. I open it seeing the doctor, after he's done he comes out saying," Well she'll need to eat she lost a lot of blood. She has a very bad cold and if not warm enough my cause her fever to damage her body so keep her warm and wrap her arm every few hours to keep it cleaned from infection. That poor girl looks like she's been through the ringer a few times, hopefully this is the last time."

I glance at the old coot and shake my head, what an odd man. I walk over to the table and look at the take out menus and the call to order dinner. I walk over and look at her shivering form. I cough and walk to my closet pulling out a large shirt. Another pinstriped one and move over the young woman. I then strip her down with a bright blush feeling like a pervert and slip the shirt over her head. Once done her shivering ceases and a soft sigh escapes her lips as well as mine. The next moment the doorbell rings. I close the door lightly but not all the way and open the door seeing the food and Tatsuro?

I raise an eyebrow and pull him in. I take a box of food and the soup and tap my bedroom door open. Tatsuro freezes when he sees the girl coughing sitting up. I smile and hand her the food. She slowly eats but nods as a soft thank you. I get her some water and pull out a few pills to give her from the bottle the doctor left. She looks at me and I prop her mouth open and put the pills in as I give her water and lift her throat back to swallow. She swallows and grimaces at it. I smile as she finishes eating. I bring a cloth and rub her forehead and dab her neck trying not to scare her or myself.

Once done she looks drowsy and I lay her back down as she drifts off. Tatsuro and I slide out of the room. I open the other two boxes and bring them to the table with two forks.

Tatsuro the says," So the girl?"

I stop eating and say, " I found her running from some shady people and bleeding badly. So I did the logical thing and brought her here."

He raises an eyebrow and says," So Mr. Freeze is a man after all? Nice to know your attracted to a girl!"

I stare at Tatsuro like he grew two heads. But for now I let it slide for I didn't know what was to come for me or into my life.
