deep within the shadows
lurking
is a little trouble
so beware of a child
with history all black
all light unseen
the things that happened
a blur and lost
the trust of life
forever abandoned
lost in abyss
it alone knows
who this child is and was
no future ahead
this little girl sees
this child smiles
even on a rainy day
as if the sun were out
forming a rainbow
just for it to disappear
once more behind a
SMILE
