I wasn't going to leave unless you told me to,
I tried to do everything just to please you,
I let you make me in into something completely new,
I wanted to stick around 'till you said, "I do"
I just wanted you to love me like I loved you.
I wanted something with you, that was real, deep, and true.
I let you have all the power over me,
I did it for us, so you would see,
I just wish you'd pay that one fee,
The price of a life together, in harmony.
But you couldn't take it, you just simply popped,
After that, there was no way you could be stopped,
You called me "very bad,"
Treated me like a mutt,
Said I always made you mad,
And there was no room for buts.
You threw me away and locked the key,
I couldn't believe you'd just abandon me.
But you proved it true, You did,
You flushed me down and slammed the lid,
So for years and years I've just hid,
Protected by the shadows, lurking in the pain,
Slumping in the darkness, crying in the rain,
My Icey blood still yearns for you, in each and every vein,
My skin, all old and wrinkled now, time has left it's stain,
I still hunt for you,
I haunt you in your dreams,
I creep into your fragile thoughts,
Rip them away at the seams,
I know you don't want it,
But it's what my mind deems,
After all you deserve it for putting me through all those terrible things,
So tuck yourself in good tonight,
Cuddle with your Teddy bear,
I'll be waiting 'til the time is right,
Little boy don't you dare,
Look in the shadows,
Glance at all the despair,
I will glare deep into your soul,
I'll rash, I'll slice, and snare,
I'll see that you are still alive,
Just hanging by a hair,
But day by day, your memory,
Will be filled with my despair.
But no more weeps from me, my dear,
No more screams to harm the ear,
Because, soon, I know, you'll be with me, someday you'll be here.
