Prologue

This is the one piece of advice that I need to give to the future generation of teenage girls from here on out: being perfect. . . . is not so perfect after all. This is for all the "normal girls" who want to be popular, and for all the now "popular girls" who wish that they'd stayed normal. I used to be a "popular girl", myself. Take it from me.

Chapter 1

Hey. I'm Beth Collins. Now an average girl. Thankfully. Anyhow, when people look at me, I guess people see a reasonably small girl, a little short, long blond hair, very blue eyes, wears( and likes!) light colored clothes, usually has a large family surrounding her or near her, pretty much average girl, right? Well, now I can tell you, there's a lot more behind those blue eyes that meets the eye. Behind those blue eyes are the fact that I'm fourteen, lives in Sanibel, Florida, goes to cherry hill high school, and lives in a really nice neighborhood. I'm also almost a sophomore .That's my "at home" life. Or,rather, that is now my entire life. Besides school. But rewind. . . six months ago, that was my "at home" life. I also had a "school life" and a " social life" and a "omg I am trying to get good grades while juggling other things like dance and photography class" kind of life. But never mind that. Let's just focus on the "school life" and a little bit of the "at home life". For now.

Chapter 2

Life at home is pretty normal. I'll tell you more about that stuff later.Anyway, welcome to my "school life". September 1: when I got home from school this afternoon, I was in a glum mood,I guess. I had just started at cherry hill high school. This was my first day in my new school. I got directions from the office and headed down the hall to my new locker. I got a yellow locker; the lockers at my new school are all different colors. I was in a good mood( for the first day of school, anyway) until I saw my locker "buddy"(and no, we didn't share a locker; she had the locker next to me): she had bleached blond hair, clearly the latest brand in the latest clothes, and this expression of utmost superiority; you know the type. She sorta looked at my like I was something that she found on the bottom of her shoe. Then she muttered , "great. I couldn't at least get someone decent next to me!"She then spoke out loud: "ok, I can tell it's your first day. So, I'm going to go easy on you: STAY OUT OF MY WAY!!!" Great. my first day, and I've already made an enemy. Yay!😔

Hey guys! I hope you like my book! I'll probably will be writing a lot more soon! hope you like it!
