"What the fuck?" Dan blinked, trying to make sense of his surroundings. He bounced slightly, his feet balancing off the rubbery surface. He was so completely oblivious as to where he was. It was dark, and he could see light at the end. A viscous tunnel- perhaps? But how did he get there?
