Chapter 12

I lay in bed for almost two hours, and I was thinking,of course,while experiencing this again and again in my head. What exactly the hell happened? And what does this mean? First, he planned such a wonderful celebration with dinner and entertainment. Then,played the guitar and sang to me, looking me in the eye and experiencing every word of the lyrics. And then kisses me? So suddenly? Why? How will we behave now?

I heard Alex as steps in the hallway and enter the bathroom. 6:45 o'clock. I got up, I opened the curtains and windows and breathe deeply. Strangely enough, the Barcelona mornings smell of something beautiful. The view over Barcelona made me happy.

I heard that Alex was out, so I left the room.

"Hey. Good morning. Good Lord, why do you look like this Sophia? "

"Well you know, not sleeping enough tonight." - I tried to extend a kind smile. I can only hope that he has neither seen nor heard me and Mateo tonight.

"I'll be ready in about 15-20 minutes. And Alex. On the way to university I want to enter into Starbucks and take a coffee because otherwise I will faint somewhere along the way. "

"OK, I'll take my coffee then too. Meanwhile, I can go to the bakery and get pretzels? I'll wait for you there.

"Agreed."

I entered the toilet, washed my face and hands and combed. I went into the room and took the first piece of clothing that was in front of my hands-dark red blouse with long sleeves and pants with creamy color. I dressed and stood in front of the mirror to put a little makeup. I noticed that I was still wearing the chain that Elsa gave me which Mateo put on my neck. Again I returned to the same thoughts but hook my head, as if that would do them immediately disappear. I put the chain on the shirt, I took rmy purse,put on my black Converse and left. I sincerely hoped that I will not meet Elsa nor Mateo. After 15 minute walk, we arrived in Starbuks. I took Venti Starbucks coffee, and Alex took a Starbucks Grande Cafe Americano. And along the way, we ate the pretzels. We waited at the subway 5 minutes and after a while we got to the faculty.

Mateo's POV

I didn't sleep. Not even a second. I lay in bed for two hours,thinking and experienced the kiss again in my head trying to save every detail, even the smallest. A few minutes ago you're singing like you do not want to ruin the friendship and the other minute you're kissing. Applause to you, Mateo. How should I behave after this? What will happen? Lord, this is total chaos. How much I wanted to see Sophia every day, all the time, so much is due to avoid her rght now. At least this morning. I know that I can't always avoid her. Honestly, I do not want to. That meeting will happen sooner or later, or possibly even today.

Sophia's POV

I knew I could not always, avoid meeting with Mateo. That meeting will happen sooner or later, or possibly even today.

True. After the lectures I received a message from Alex that they are wait for me in the cafe. So strong wish inside of me to see Mateo again. This is it Sophia. You've always been coward. Come on, gather strength and face it up!

I walked into the cafe. Alex and Else were already there. But where is Mateo?

After a while now,I decided to upload something again,just to see how will this go. The support and all the words a got from Ivana292002 really changed my mind and I owe this all to her. So yes,if there are some views again I'll keep writing.

In the next chapter,Sophia will discover about Mateo's life part that he hides from everyone. What will be happening between them?
I was also thinking about starting a new story,about a confused,sometimes lost teenage girl who is facing some big problems everyday and she's just looking for luck (which she'll obviously find in the end,everyone does.) What do you think? <33
