Scott's POV
Mitch introduced me to his new friend Kirstie, I've actually hear of her she's the new girl. We all three went to lunch together and just talked the whole time, Kirstie seemed a little shy but she is really nice.
"So Kirstie how are you liking Martin High School so far"? I asked
"Great I was actually afraid of being bullied, I didn't think I would make a friend on the first day"
"Why would you get bullied you're so adorable". Mitch mentioned
I noticed that Kirstie kinda blushed when Mitch said that but I never really think anything of stuff like that, I mean it could just be nothing and that's just who she is or something like that.
"Well I kinda got bullied at my last school because I'm really short"
"Well fu** them, your perfect plus I find being short is really cute" Mitch said
"Really you think that" she said
"Yeah of course I promise I would never let you get bullied I would beat the sh** out of those people"
"Thanks Mitch"
"No Problem".
"Oh yeah and Kirstie guess what" Mitch said
"What is it"?
"I got you into my choir class" Mitch said
"Wait really that's amazing thank you so much"
"You're very welcome" Mitch said smiling
"Wait so Kirstie is in our choir class now" I asked
"yup" Mitch responded
"Wait Scott is in choir too"? Kirstie asked
"yeah" I told her
Kirstie's POV
"So when is my audition" I asked
"It's tomorrow after school" Mitch responded
"Okay well I'll practice hard tonight then"
"Not to hard though you don't wanna lose your voice" Mitch said
"Okay I won't" I said as we all laughed
(After School)
After school I walked home to tell my mom the new about me joining choir the only bad part is that I have to audition and that makes me very nervous but I'll try my best to work through it.
"Mom I'm home"
"Hi Kirstie how was school today"
"It was amazing, remember Mitch, the guy I introduced you to?"
"Yeah he seems really nice"
"Well the other day I told him that I was thinking about joining choir for after school and he said that he will try to get me into his choir class"
"Let me guess, you got in"
"Yup" I said jumping down in excitement
"But, the only bad part is that I have to audition and I'm very nervous, what if I mess up completely"
"Kirstie, sweetie, I hear you sing upstairs everyday and you sound amazing I promise you will get in and I'm not just saying that because I'm your mom I'm telling the truth"
"Thanks mom, you're the best"
"I know sweetie"
"I'll be upstairs practicing if you need me"
I've been singing ever since I was like 8 I know I can do this, I believe in myself. What song should I sing for my audition, It took me awhile to figure out which song but I finally picked one I'll sing 'My Demons' by Starset.
(An Hour later)
I decided to sing just for an hour, like Mitch said I should save my voice for tomorrow, I don't wanna mess this up, so I decided to go on vocal rest, I learned that going on vocal rest helps save your voice because you're not talking. (A/N: Little information for you guys by stating the obvious, XD.)
(The Next Day)
Once I got to school I saw Mitch waiting for me at the front, I find it really sweet.
"Hey Mitchy" I said giving him a nickname I really like that nickname.
"Oh so now we're giving each other nicknames huh"
"I guess we are so.. what's my nickname" I said smiling
"I was thinking Kirst" Mitch said smiling as well
"So.. how was practice last night"
"Great I went on vocal rest for the rest of the night too"
"That's great and a very smart idea"
"Yup"I said smiling
"The real question is do you know all the lyrics"
"Of course the song I'm singing is my favorite there is no way I'm messing this up"
"Well that's great I can't wait to hear it"
"Wait you're coming to watch"
"Of course I mean I don't have to but you're my friend and I want to support you plus a lot of people from that class likes to watch all of the auditions"
"Cool I can't wait"
"Same here" Mitch said smiling
(After school)
The day is finally over and it's time to start heading to the choir room for my audition. Once I got to the choir room I saw Mitch and Scott in the front row.
"Hey guys thanks so much for coming to support me I really appreciate it"
"It's no problem, anything for a friend" Scott said.
