a/n the things in this story are made up, she doesn't have stuffed animals named these names and probably not even clothes. just to make that clear, all these stories come from my imagination :)
Hayleys POV
I walk up the stairs to my room after a long hard day at school. I let out a long sigh knowing today was the day, the day that I pack up and run away. I walk over to my bed and set my bag down, I take out everything from school that I had brought home for "homework" as I was going to put some of it in my bag so I don't get bored. I put 4 pairs of clothes in my bag, making sure to go off my list.
Things to pack:
suitcase:
a pair of jeans
a pair of leggings
a pair of sweats
a pair of athletic shorts
calebs sweatshirt
gymnastics hoodie
white t shirt
Tucker (her stuffed animal)
a hair brush
iPad + portable charger/earbuds
throw blanket
umbrella
$1000 found in parents room
In the backpack:
first aid kit
some toys
bop it
all icebreakers
Candy
granola bars
sugar snacks for sweet tooth
bread
peanut butter
In the cooler:
all water minus a few
ham
Bologna
turkey
butter
grapes
soda
and the list goes on. once I get packed up I wait for mommy to take Annie to gym. once I see them leave, I run up to my room and grab my stuff, then head out the back door. on my way to the woods across the street I pause, looking back on the house smiling, all the pain, bruises, screaming, lashes, those were all gonna go away. I'm free.
