"Dr. quinzel, he's having one of his tantrums today, so you can leave anytime you want." A guard said as Harley stood outside the large metal door that held the joker.

She took a shaky breath. She had no clue what she was in for, she's been with him many times before but she's never been with him when he was taunting and threatening the guards like that.

She heard a slam against the door, followed by some yelling.

She stepped back instantly, sucking in a breath and gripping her clipboard tighter.

"You don't have to do this." He said, resting a hand on her shoulder.

"I have to. He needs as much help as possible." She said sternly without hesitation.

He sighed. "He's fucking crazy ma'am, I don't know if you'll ever get in his head." He said leaning against the wall.

"I-I think I'm getting through to him." She said glancing to the door.

He barked a loud laugh. "As if!"

"I am. He tells me things that he never told anyone." She said surely.

"That's what he wants you to think. Anyway, you better get in there, it sounds pretty bad in there." He said unlocking the door.

She smiled and pulled the heavy door open. Trying to ignore what he said.

She shut the door behind her, and turned to the noise. Joker was pinned against the wall by the knee of a guard, with a gun jammed in the side of his head, but he was laughing uncontrollably, making chills run down her spine.

"Ahem." She cleared her throat.

Both men turned their attention to her.

"Oh ms. Quiiiiiiiiiiiinn!" Joker cooed breathlessly.

"Quinzel." She corrected. "Won't you let him go?! That's not how you should treat patients!!" She scolded to the guard with anger etched into her features.

He sighed and let j down, and removed the gun.

"Thank you sweetheart." The joker said giving her a wide, grateful smile.

"Now, will you leave so that me and mr. j can get to work?" She said setting her clipboard down.

He gave her a nod and walked out, shutting the door behind him.

Joker was still against the wall, but now he was leaning, staring at her.

"Hey dollface, nice to see you." He purred, his eyes burning a hole right through her.

A chill went down her spine. And she tried to ignore the fact that she kinda liked how intimidating he was.

"Can you take a seat please?" She asked, pulling a chair out for him. He cocked a non existent eyebrow and graciously took a seat.

"Why, such manners." He said, leaning forward in his seat, and letting his eyes follow her.

She smiled and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear as she sat down.
