So Far, Yet So Near

A/N: dedicated to my very close friend Ynah, here’s your story.

“Distance doesn’t matter when you’re inlove, even though you’re miles away, your hearts will make a way to be together. No matter how far you are to each other, yet it feels like you’re so near, just a heartbeat away.”

I hope he’s just right next to me, and I know he feels the same. Though we like it or not, we can’t do anything to avoid what’s going to happen, we are too young to decide from what’s good for us. They said it’s for the best, a better future for him so I decided to let him go because I know if we are to be together, then it would be. On the right time. We just have to be patient.

After our high school graduation he left.

2 years had passed, ang bilis ng panahon, parang kalian lang mula nung umalis siya para mag aral sa Maynila. Sabi ng mga friends ko niloloko ko na lang daw ang sarili ko at nag-aantay lang ako sa wala, hindi daw mag wo-work out ang long distance relationship but look, hanggang ngayon kami parin. 3years na kaming mag on. From time to time he visit me, at least once a week na naging once a month kaso dumalang na this past few months dahil na rin sa hectic schedules, I don’t want to be a demanding gf, he’s busy on his studies and so I am, at the same time he’s a working student, I have to be as understanding as I can. Malayo nga naman ang Manila dito sa probinsya namin  kung nagkataon mas mahaba pa ang byahe niya kesa sa pag stay niya dito. Wala na kasi silang bahay dito binenta na nung magpunta silang mag-anak sa Maynila. We just communicate through text messages, phone calls and chat on Facebook, Skype. We text each other every minute like theres no tomorrow, telebabad all night. Hindi man kami madalas magkita, and we badly miss each other, it’s the risk of having a long distance relationship. You must learn how to trust, be loyal and honest to make the relationship stronger and last longer.

My phone vibrated, I checked the screen and... 3 messages received

All of those three message ay yun ang laman, I flushed, I can't help my self but smile.

Again my phone vibrated.

Yhats<3 calling...

Makita ko lang ang name niya sa screen napapangiti na ko... I imidiately pressed the answer button. "Hello Babe?"

" Happy Monthsary 'ney... I Love You So Much... how I wish to have you here by my side, I really miss you."

"Thank You Hon, Happy monthsary din... I love you more and more... I miss you too, kung kaya ko nga lang magteleport ginawa ko na, sayang may pasok kami kaya hindi tayo makapagcelebrate together." Grabe I can't contain my feelings... gusto ko siyang makita pero hindi pwede.
