Jess bit down onto her hot dog. It tasted good, but it wouldn't be enough to fulfil her hunger. Besides, human food won't keep her healthy. She needed blood, a new victim, soon. "Jess? are you alright? You look a million miles away." said her best friend, Becky. Oh, Becky. Sweet, kind, caring Becky. If only she knew the monster she truly was....
"Yeah, it's nothing..." Jess mumbled, picking at her bread roll.
"Are you sure? Nothing wouldn't make you hang your head and stay silent. Usually you never shut up!" joked Becky, trying to cheer her up.
"It's nothing, I told you. Please, nothing's wrong." Jess replied, as the parasite attached to her back, squirmed with hunger. Jess needed to get blood, fast.
"I.... really don't feel well....." murmured Jess, as the parasite on her back was getting impatient. It could be worse, she thought. It was far worse being hungry in someone else's body than in her own.
"Are you okay? Do you need me to get the nurse?"
No. No. No.
A nurse was the last thing she needed. A nurse would want to take blood samples, check her out, maybe find the parasite on her back. She would be found out. Taken to a facility, cut up, tested, tortured, hurt. Just like her parents and siblings. She managed to escape to the woods and live there, and let her human body grow, where nobody could find her, except for a few travellers, which she killed.
"No. There's only 2 hours of school left. I'll be alright until then."
"Well, if ya say so." Said Becky, as she bit into her cookie.
By the time Jess was almost at the orphanage it was cold and dark. There was no one around, except a man, late 40's, who kept following her. She smirked. This could be the meal she had craved all day. She purposley walked into the alley, stopped, and looked at her phone. Suddenley the man came up. He backed Jess up to a wall so she couldn't escape.
"Hey, sweetie. What is a lovely girl like you doing out here at this time?" He said, hiccuping between every other word.
"What if a bad man came up and attacked you?" He said, his face so close to Jess she could smell his pungeant, alchoholic breath.
As he tried to kiss her, Jess could feel her parasite climbing down her leg before she fell to the ground. Jess opened her eyes, and she was significantly smaller. She could see her body, lying on the floor, the creepy man smiling as he went to undress her unconscious body. Oh no he doesn't.
Jess ran up to him, letting out a horrible screech, jumped onto his back and dug her painful claws into his back.
