"Hey, girl," I heard Anya, my loud mouth best friend, yell through the speakers of my car.

I had her on Bluetooth since I was driving.

"Hey, whats up?" I asked.

"Nothing girl, I was just calling to see are you ready for next weekend. I got box tickets to the Giants game, they finally came in the mail," she squealed.

This girl was in love with the giants, mainly because of Victor Cruz. I will admit the man was sexy and that salsa dance was just undesirably sexy.

"Yeah, girl. Just so you know I am not a football fan so excuse me if I don't share the same excitement as you," I told her.

I parked the car and got out. I listen to her ramble about the game and her day. She called me everyday to give me a run down on exactly what she did. I enjoyed listen to her drama because my life was less exciting than hers. All I ever did was work, eat, sleep, and repeat. Nothing interesting.

I walked into my apartment building. It was late and I was ready to eat something and go to sleep. I spent all day preparing for my presentation for tomorrow's meeting.

I listen to her complain about her ex-boyfriend Craig and his new girlfriend drama. I made it to my floor and a bunch of loud guys where walking my way, I put my head down and walked pass them. It wasn't them it was just I never really felt safe around a bunch of men.

"Aye girl," one of them yelled at me as they passed.

I looked up and met eyes with a really sexy caramel color guy. I quickly looked way as soon as we made eye contact. I felt my face getting red, but I kept walking towards my apartment.

"Anya," I said to my friend trying to get her attention she was going on a tangent about how she had to cut her nails down because her boss thought it was unprofessional to have extremely long nails.

"What girl?" she said.

"I got to go, but I am excited for you to come down. I will text you the next time I am free," I told her walking into my apartment.

"Okay, girl see you later. Love you, bye," she said.

"Love you, bye," I said hanging up.

I turned on the TV and listened to the news talking about more killing and new diseases. It was just crazy how this world has gotten. Cops killing unarmed citizen, the Zika virus, and terrorist attacks. I just don't feel safe annoying more.

I decided to catch up on the last episode of Power on DVR. I made chicken, mash potatoes and greens the day before, I made enough to last me half of the week.

After I finished eating I turned off the TV and went to get ready for bed. I watched Survivors Remorse until I fell asleep.

I woke up to the sounds of Rihanna bumping through the wall. The music was so loud that it woke me from my sleep. I grabbed my headphones to drown out the music but it didn't work.

I laid there for a few minutes debating whether I should go over there or not. I looked over at the clock it read 3:30 am. You have got to be kidding me! I threw the covers off of me then grabbed my pajama bottoms and slippers.

I made my way over to the apartment next door and knocked hard. The door swung wide open and a drunk dark skinned man stood there staring at me as if I lost my mind. In his drunken state he realized that I wasn't the police or anything, so I huge grin spread across his face.
