It was very weird and interesting. A young lady came to his orphanage came and said that I'm magical and I have potential. After that I said that I never chose to be magic she said that I was related to Harry Potter and and Dudley Dursley though Dudley was a second first cousin twice removed. "They're your cousins but they live in England." I asked why I'm here and they are in England. She said first that her name was witch, or mistress holly wayers. She was a kind lady and she had magical orange hair, she said that that hair was a sign that she could talk to spirits.
witch wayers said "your dad has a brother, James potter and James is a wizard like you. He wasn't jealous of James but disliked him very, very much. When he was old enough he moved here to America to get away from his brother. Your father was a kind man and met a woman. He loved this woman very much, they got married and had a baby. When your mother found out she had a baby she wanted to run away.
She wanted to have you killed before you were born but your father didn't agree. After that when the baby was being born your mother would've had you killed but it would kill her to. You survived but she didn't. She had to drink a poison, it was a blessing you survived. When your father found out he wanted to get rid of you, but not kill you. When he also found out you were also a wizard he gave you away to an orphanage. Your mother was a beautiful blond haired girl with a warm heart. But when people do stuff with her without her permission she loses herself. I know all this because she was my sister." "I promise I won't tell anyone until I know 100% I can trust them" I told her " "thanks"
After holly told Jared all that, he was told to go to 12.06 boats ad to jump onto the smallest boat after giving the person a coin with a horned snake on it. After Jared did that he jumped on the boat and fell on a big pile of luggage that had his name on it. He saw holly there and she told him to walk into the castle and he did. He walked into a hallway and saw a few older kids, suddenly holly was gone. It was his first day and he had no idea what to do."hi "Said a bigger kid"I'm Sotto gratis". "Cool" I said back "I'm Jared potter I'm an orphan and I have no idea what to do, could you help me. " "Cool and yes, also that name sounds familiar I thinks it also the last name of someone in hog warts, another school of witchcraft and wizarding and I think he killed like a biggie bad guy, but anyway I'm a second year and I'll help you around here, until you get the gist. Do you have everything?"he finished "I think so" I replied.
"I'm a wampus which is exposed to represent the body and favours warriors and I'm more like I'm very social and make friends quickly if I want to, I like people younger than me to make friends and I saw you, also I favour people who fight for peace so not really warriors, said Sotto "what do you think I'll be?" I asked"I like the mind and I like adventure" "maybe you'll also be a wampus I mean you sound more like a thunder bird and horned serpent, but adventure,warriors and body, mind so I think you'll also be in wampus"
"what are the houses" I asked. Sotto explained all the houses and what they represent. "WE ARE HERE" I heard a voice scream. As we walked in we all went upstairs into a big room. It was a round room with a giant circle table and another one in the middle. "All the first years sit there" Sotto explained to me, so I walked over to the table. I couldn't believe all the food it looked so good and I felt like staying here "whoa" said a boy next to me "hi I'm Jared potter" "WHOA" he yelled "is that all you say?" I asked "no but are you related to someone named Harry Potter because he just killed lord Voldemort last year he's famous in hogwarts.
"who's Harry Potter" I asked " oh sorry I'm Trevor Axor and I love to study a lot". "Cool" I said "oh look they're having kids go up to the sorter hat. "How do you know this stuff" said Trevor " I mean I know it too but I read lots of books you don't seem like that type, no offence ". "I think that was rood but I'll probably forget later. I know this stuff because a second year told me, his name is Sotto gratis. "Jared potter" said one of the headmasters in a strong voice"step up to the wooden people." as I walked up I saw the hat, he looked nice and as I walked up to him I didn't feel stressed.
"Hmmm hi Jared " said a wood n person"my brother the sorting hat put a boy name Harry Potter in gryffindor because he asked but he was more of a Slytherin, I don't know why, you do seem like thunderbird which is gryffindor but you seem more like wampus. What do you want? " said the sorter hat "hurry up said a kid in yellow and black "I would like wampus please" Wampus" said the sorter hat as I walked down and the headmaster said "Trevor Axor"I smiled and said "don't worry."
Just as He sat down I heard "horned serpent" and Trevor came down to me "wow that was quick" I said "I know as I Got up there he was like your smart you know that your and HS then I said yes" " wow you are really smart" I said "thanks" he replied. After all the people were sorted I went into the wampus dorm and I saw Sotto "hey squirt" said Sotto "you know " I said "I've always wanted a sibling and all the other first years who were put into horned serpent asked me if I was related to Harry Potter and I hope I am because he sounds cool and I geuss he was a gryffindor which is like thunderbird. I've always wanted a sibling and that is what I think of you and I know I said that already" I said. "Well thank you and I've also wanted a little bro".
The next day was our first day in class. I couldn't believe that witch wayers (as I like to say) for our first class and only horned serpent and wampus. we had potions class first but it was all rules,rules,rules,ad boredom. As we all walked out mistress holly told me if I told anyone yet. I said not yet but soon I will so she told me to bring my potion stuff in one of my suitcases because she will show them how to make a potion with my stuff. After that I went into the wampus room, after the wampus statue told me I could, of course.
before we all went to bed I told Sotto about my family, also why I faked I knew. He said he understood and had no reason to get mad. I was relieved, hen we all fell asleep, into a dream.
(now this will just be a regular dream not a dreams that mean something like the Harry Potter series. Also parentheses will always mean authors note)
'Twas a nice day and he was just in a tree, with a pig. He saw his friends, Trevor and Sotto, down there riding on.... what were they riding on. It looked like an eagle, well it had an Eagles head with the rest of a horse, also there was a giant fuzzy ball with eyes. He had seen these before but he couldn't remember what they were called. In the dreams Jared slapped himself and said "of course, this is a dream. Not like it's important or anything." Just then he woke up to Sotto saying "wake up, up,up its your first study of magical creatures class. That's my favourite, that is were we learn about the magical creatures. Well Duhh anyway we have our own little thing were you can be sorted in to centaur, basilisk, bicorn, or thestral.
each year we take the test again and also there are different houses, but they tell us all in advance, well most of us. Anyway last year it was Phoenix , dragon, mermaid, and hippogriff." As Sotto was telling that to Jared, they were walking to the back of the school. It was an island with orange sandy beaches. First the teacher told us all to stand up and he would decide what group we will be in by our looks. He described it very carefully. More carefully than Sotto did. After that the wampuses were with the pukwidges and then varek, the headmaster for pukwidge started sorting people into their, should I say, houses. Varek started with the puckwidges and I found out pretty easily that he has favorites. Most of the puckwidges were sorted into Bicorn and centaur, but about eleven got sorted into thestral and six into basilisk. After varek finished sorting the puckwidges he started sorting us. Soto and I were in the back but I was mainly trying to get a good look at varek, he was a tall eccentric charming looking guy with a mustache that stuck straight out and was thin. At first I thought that it was really wield that he had an accent but then I thought that it was weirder that he stared at me for a while
"hmmm mabye a thesral, or bicorn. Son I think I'll put you in a special group " then I noticed that he was talking to Sotto
"I'll call it hufflepuff" waving his hands in the air, but then he decided to settle bicorn. And then he touched my head and said that this one was a toughie like he did with every one else, and said "HUFFLEPUFF , whoops I meant Centaur" After Vareks mistake he had us all walk into eight groups. Puckwidge centaur, puckwidge basilisk, puckwidge bicorn, and puckwidge thestral. Then he did wampus centaur, wampus basilisk, wampus bicorn, and wampus thestral.
It was a very interesting process but after we all studied about our group he said it was time to pack up. I wondered why because I looked at my watch and it had only been a quarter hour and unless someone bewitched it then I don't think that varek was correct. But then he said we need to switch and learn about the other beasts.
