Today was the first day of Soccer where we met with our teams and get to know each other. I am so excited.
"Mom! I'm ready!" I yelled to my mom as I stood in the doorway, getting burnt to death by the sun.
"Be there in a sec!" She replied.
I stood there looking at the neighbor with her kid running around in their yard. Her phone started ringing and she got it out and answered it. She walked away for a sec and I watched the kid run around. All of a sudden he ran out into the road. I looked back and saw a car coming. I dropped my bag and ran.
