There's No I in Team

How it all starts

(Ari POV)
I woke up thinking this is gonna be a great day. I got out of bed and walked to the bathroom. I brushed my teeth and washed my face. When I came out of the bathroom I went into my mom's bedroom door.
"Mom are you still here"
I heard nothing so I opened the door and walked into her bathroom caused I needed to get my lotion. When I opened the door to the bathroom I saw blood all over the floor.
"Mom?! Please say your in here. I don't want this to be a joke."
She didn't answer. I walked around her bathroom and then walked into her closet.
I look around to see if she was in there. I see her legs buried under a big pile of clothes. I push the clothes off of her. There were marks on her legs and thighs. When I finish removing all the clothes off her there's a knife by her hand and there were more marks on her arms and stomach. I look at her neck and back away.
"I need to call the cops" My Mom was dead. Someone had slit her throat open. I run back to my room and get my phone. I slam myself on the floor beside her and I call the police station.
(Police,Ari)
"Come on pick up"
"911 what's your emergency"
"I need to report an homicide"
"Where on the way"
I'm guessing you're hat they tracked the call cause they were here under 20 minutes.
They banged on the front door. When I opened the door a big broad man named Zac came through the door and asked where my mother was. I told him and he went upstairs and closed the door behind him. I wanted to know why he closed the door so I went upstairs him and knocked on the door.
"Sir are you okay." I asked him. It sounded like he was crying so I went in and saw him crying on the floor.
"Ari Mount, that's your name is it."Zac asked me. I went over to him and put on hand on his back.
" Yes that's me."
" I used to know your mother. She and I were close friends. I can't believe this. Who would want to do this to her?" Zac got up and wiped his face and came closer toward me. He bent down and gave me a hug.
" I'm sorry about your mom" he said trying to hold back the tears that were about to fall from his face. " I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else"
Before Zac left he put the yellow caution tape around her room.

I sat around thinking that she wasn't dead. Everyday someone who knew her came to pay their respects.

Someone knocked on the door and I answered it.
"Hi. I heard about your mom" Its was my best friend Nao."is she really gone"
"Yea she's gone. They took her."
"I'm so sorry Ari. This shouldn't happen to anyone. How many people came."
"Um...20 I guess. I really wasn't counting"
"Do you wanna come over to my house for a couple of days. You'd have to bring your school things, but you don't have to go if you don't want to."
"Sure I love to come. Let me go get some clothes and stuff"
I ran upstairs and got my duffle bag and started to stuff clothes and went into my bathroom and grabbed the important stuff. I went back into my room to grab my Bookbag. Once I was done I went back downstairs.
"I'm ready"I said to her as she hugged me. I started to cry.
