The night sky was bright with the lights of the city and busy chatter could be heard throughout. In one particular alleyway noises of someone or something rummaging through the trash could be heard.
Step, step, step.
Footsteps could be heard as the policeman who was on patrol duty at the time traveled closer and closer to the source of the noise, ready to shoo away any homeless men that could be rummaging around in the diner's trash dump.
The uniformed man walked close enough to where he could shine his flashlight onto whatever was the source of the noise and let the rays of light fall onto it.
"Oh my g-god.." the officer couldnt speak without choking at the sight before him. A small boy with grey-white hair and bright, almost glowing red eyes turned to the source of light, his eyes squinting. His mouth was full of intestines that were half chewed by his razor sharp shark-like teeth. Blood covered his hands and face.
The officer stood in stunned silence, his hand shaking violently at the gruesome sight. He dropped the flashlight and before he knee it the humanoid creature scurried off with inhuman speed, jumping over the fence and into the stream below.
