Drop by drop rain keeps hitting the ground,
Gentle thumps being heard all over the farm,
The beauty of it all leaving me spellbound.
The way little water droplets land on leaves resembling a crown,
Quenching their thirst, washing away all the dirt..doing no harm.
As the rain subsides grasshoppers can be seen,
Making their way onto the grass eager to see the sun.
Cows mooing all along in happy cheer looking at all the grass so green,
I can't help but take a picture of such a wondrous scene.
As I put my phone down, Do I hear a laugh- a father playing with his newborn son.
Sun is shining bright with clouds nowhere insight,
Everything glistening, resembling a new rise.
I see a girl playing and butterflies surround her so bright,
Horses neighing, humming birds humming, while ducks float on water a true delight.
As I return to my abode as Mum calls me to help her with pies.
By evening all is settled, all is dry,
Animals have retrieved, Sun has set,
Owls hooting, fireflies lighting up the sky,
Cool breeze whispering tales of the night travelling high,
This day of my life so pure, so true, even if I try I can never forget.
The magic of the nature, the melody of it,
Still haunts me daily, it never ever quits.

I truly feel that the song above is just so perfect for this poem
