Fire. That was all it was in the beginning. Death, chaos, destruction. At least that is what I heard, and clearly it shows. Some say there creation was sparked by the war, one side desperately trying to quickly erraticate the other. Others say the Komodo dragon evolved a little to quickly. And a little belief say it is because we decided to stop fighting, and the Gods are punishing us for that lack of slaughter. These winged beasts seem to have no mercy towards only us poor unfortunate bunch of humans, disregarding of anything else except the hunt.

But these winged beasts are not as simple as just one kind, unfortunately. There are just your simple dragons, four legs and two wings. Then there are Hydra, and you can guess where those multi headed freaks of nature lurk. After that are the half people dragons the most intelligent of them all. Then there are the Wyvern, of which are the biggest pain in the ass to kill, due to there ridiculous flight speed, danger awareness, and flexibility. Though, there is one kind of dragon that poses no real threat to humans. The fur dragons. They are basically a smaller Wyvern, except rather than scales, they are covered in fur, and have wings of that are very similar in design to a birds. And most all dragons except Hydra have horns. A fur dragons horns are large.

But then we got to thinking. 'How are we going to defend ourselves from the monsters flying in our skies?' Well, that was answered soon after the question aroused fear. Guns. Big and powerful guns. While things like tanks and anti-air wepons vanished, along with any other thing from 155mm down to 80mm, anti tank rifles were still here. Things like the American Anzio 20mm, The Russian BTDR 41 14.5mm, Switzerland's Solothurn s-18 20mm series. Things of that nature.

So there were those very few noble souls who took on the dangerous task. And so, the dragon hunters came to be. Well, they weren't really "hunters" quite yet. More like scouts. They were just called that through popular accession. They wrote down details of the gargantuan lizards. Analyzing there eating habits, deciphering there movements, and searching for possible pack formations. Some were.e even ballsy enough to approach them. Most all who did died. It was not until Noah Ember, while trying to get his wepons in an desperate attempt to protect his family from a dragon attack, that a true dragon hunter was born. He walked out to see the dragon eating his wife and children. Just enough to push him over the edge, and drive the edge of his sword through its head, killing it instantly. They dined on it that night.

Very quick story. I always asked myself... is it true?
