Ace and The Fed

Chapter 1: Welcoming Signs

"Ace!"A loud voice came from the lobby.
Ace looked up from the typewriter with her glasses.
"We have a client here. Bring me the legal documents for consent."Mr. Weiss yelled.
"Yes, Sir. Right on it." She walked across the room in her cute black high heels, flower dress, and neatly done Bob. She walked over to her drawer and pulled out the legal consent papers. Her coffee fell as she tried to pull the folder out.
"Damn! "She cursed. She picked the cup up and threw it out,  but not after cutting the coupon out of it. She loved saving the 5 cent off coupons from Cup O' Joe's.
She walked over to her desk drawer and opened it. It was filled with coupons.
"I should bundle these up. "She thought to herself. 
"Any day now! "Her boss yelled.
She ran to his office and gave him his papers.
"Thanks. Push my doctors appointment up to 3. Call them for notification. I feel like I'm gonna be here a while. "
As he finished his sentence, a family walked in. There we're two kids and a mother and father. The father was short and stocky. A little taller than the mother but only by maybe two inches. His hair was combed over,  like he was hiding a bald spot. He probably was. He wore a businessman tux. He had a mean look on his face. The mother was very fit. It was more or less obviously that she had a six pack underneath her flower dress. Probably lifting weights to relieve stress from the kids. Admirable,  in her time. She had a depressed look on her face.
The kids looked like a handful. They hopped around the couches, playing tag and hide-and-seek.
"Kids, sit down please. Next to mommy? "
They continued to play around.
The father got up and walked over to the kids and whispered in their ear.
Without anymore hesitation, the kids dashed to their seats.
That wasn't a good sign. But whatever. Ace was just the secretary. What did she know. She watched as the family went into Keller Weiss's office. She followed.
