[ pffft this is gonna be so bad because i haven't written a story in so long, gee. i'll be testing out with different perspectives, like first person and third person, so yeah just a heads up. enjoy, if you can. ][this chapter contains swearing, insults, and slight bullying! don't read this if you are easily triggered!]
Paige walked down the long hallways of the school, her blue-grey backpack slung over her shoulder. She had soft, light brown hair with orange-red dyed tips, that ended right at her shoulders. Along with that, she has beautiful, soft but determined green eyes. She stopped to take a break at her locker, which was number 106. Opening her locker to get the required things for her next class, she could see a certain someone approaching their locker too, number 104.
It was Chris. He was known for his devilishly good looks, an amazing smile, and his rebellious personality. He had soft, dark brown hair with bits of blonde on the top of it, with striking green eyes, and a laugh that would make any girl faint. Paige would be lying if she claimed she didn't have feelings for him. Because she did. Even though people call her brave, daring, and rebellious herself, she was always a stuttering mess around him. And Paige knew very well that other million more girls would probably kill to have Chris as their own.
Paige and Chris were not even considered friends by others, really. Being the girl who hated acting all lovey-dovey, whenever she saw Chris, it was always either a "Get away, you're annoying!" or "Ugh, can you leave?!" Obviously, those weren't her true feelings... she would hate to have her reputation ruined by having a crush on some guy who probably cheats on all of his girlfriends.
You might be thinking, 'hey, does she like him only for his looks then?' The answer is, no. His personality could be quite confusing sometimes. Nice today, and tomorrow just plain rude. It was all so weird... but despite his ways, Chris had an amazing personality. He was extremely sweet and caring. Poor Chris, couldn't understand why Paige 'hated' him.
One thing he suspected was that because of his annoying pranks he pulls on others. He hadn't pulled one on Paige though, why does she out of nowhere just completely avoid him? These are the types of thoughts that run through his mind, because, well, Chris also has a crush on Paige. An no, it's not like a f***boy crush. It was actually genuine. Paige was actually very pretty, and I mean very pretty. Even without the tons of makeup on her face. They both had loving, amazing personalities, but both were too afraid to show each other their feelings. Oh my, seems like we're side-tracking. Lets get back to the story.
As Chris walked up to his locker, his eyes glanced at Paige, a smirk plastered on his face. Hoping Paige wouldn't yell at him again, he opened his locker quickly, basically throwing all of his books in there. Compared to Paige's his locker was pretty unorganized, but that didn't bother him. As he was trying to grab out his things for his next class, math, out of the corner of his eyes he could see Paige staring at him. This was pretty odd, atleast for him. Paige, seeing he realized she was staring at him, instantly turned back to look at her locker, her face flushing.
"You like what you see?" Chris said with an eyebrow raise, slamming his locker shut to look at her. Paige fiddled with her locker key, before muttering a "whatever," and leaving. Chris frowned, staring at her as she walked away. No matter what he said, it always seemed like she wasn't in the slightest interested in him. He sighed, trailing behind her since they were going to the next classes.
-timeskip after class ended-
Paige walked out of class, sighing. She was failing math... she wasn't particularly good at it. Probably because she doesn't listen... most of the times, honestly, she stares at Chris, admiring his looks and personality. Sure, that might be weird, but not for her. Sometimes she would catch a glance from Chris, too, which made her slightly smile.
