It was an other awful night for the damaged boy,one more day where his girlfriend cheated him,his best friend on the hospital and him out of drugs.

He walked to the park trying to find a peaceful place that he could light a cigarette and scream to the sky blaming god for what wrong happens in his life.

As he walked by the park he glanced on a girl sitting alone on a bench with her palms on her head and tears falling from her eyes.

"Uh..." He muttered, he didn't knew if it would be okay to sit next to her but then re thinking it,who gave a fuck? He needed to sit somewhere and lit his cigarette and here its better than the other park where other happy teenagers hang around.

He sat next to her but she didn't even said anything, she continued crying like she was alone,vernon felt bad for the girl she would have a good reason to be here and cry out.

He pulled out an other cigarette from his pocket and gently poked her shoulder,the girl looked up to him her beautiful brown eyes that now were red and puffy full of tears had his attention.

"Want one?" He asked awkwardly as he cursed himself on his mind thinking that he shouldn't have bothered her.

"No...thank you" the brown eyed girl tried to put a smile on her face but failed since the sadness inside her had taken her over.

Vernon moved his head up and down and bit his lip 'idiot' he said to himself and lit the cigarette,he took a sip from it and blew off the smoke.

"So whats up with you?" The honey haired boy asked

"Huh?"

"Why are you crying?" He took a sip from his cigarette again

"Oh...well long story" the girl said not wanting to annoy the unknown boy but little she knew he was actually interested in to listening her.

"Well i have a lot of time" he answered to her

"So...i was in love with a guy and i changed everything for him, i lost all my weight for him,cut my hair for him,wore clothes that he liked on girls and adopting any malicious habit he had and guess what? Today i learned that in our three month relationship he was cheating on me and i was actually a bet that he had put with his friends, that he would change me wanna hear the worst part? I was ready to give my self to him and then he would dumb me,he even mentioned that he would put a camera so he could show it to his friends".

The female coldly laugh at her sucky love life

"The problem id that from the anti social,lonely and quiet girl i went to the most social,active and fake girl just for his sake, now i can understand why so many girls at my school laughed behind my back"

Vernon was fixed on her words he felt so sad about her,who would be such an asshole to put a bet with his friend that would change and fuck an innocent girl? He was worse than the people would associate with,doing drugs and such.

"Dont know what to say? Im sorry...this is why i don't like telling my problems to people" she sighed and ran a hand through her brown locks.

"No no,i was thinking what a douchebag he is, but if it helps you my girlfriend cheated on me and my best friend is on the hospital...life isn't going well for me either" he answered sarcastically

"Perfect i guess both of us are damaged af" the girl giggled but a beeping sound was heard from her phone someone was calling her.

"Yes?"

She said in a quiet and scared tone like she was afraid of the person on the other line

"Uh..yes yes i am coming"

Vernon raised his eyebrows and was ready to ask her who was it because her facial features had fear painted on them

" wh-" the brown haired girl interrupted him

"I have to go...i hope i see you again stranger!" The girl gave a polite smile and run  away before vernon could even ask her name.

"Damn it!" He yelled and glared up on the sky "really? Why you hate me so much!?" The boy rolled his eyes and sighed.

But he didn't even knew that fate awaited him with a surpise
