Taylor POV
"They took her!" I cry into Michaels shoulder, "I knew they would come and take her from me!"
He moves me from his chest and holds me at arms length, "she will be fine," he tells me with confidence coating every word.
"You don't know them like I do," I whisper before the phone rings.
'Hello?' I ask the person on the other end.
'Hello Taylor it's Meg' the voice replies.
'Oh hey Meg what's up?'
'Ok so you know how I work as the pack doctor now well last night we lost a patient a very umm unstable patient and we think she's coming for you' she rushes out in one breath.
'Ok thank you for telling me bye' I say and hang up.
"They have her," I say meeting Michaels eyes.
*1 hour later*
Megan POV
I start my trek back to the house tripping a couple times not yet ready to shift considering i was tied up in silver but that's fine with me I would rather be out here than at my house. Of course my solitude doesn't last long i think finding myself on my doorstep.
"your home!" My mom says engulfing me in a hug followed by a hug from my dad and Brandon.
"Where were you?" my dad asks.
think of an answer i tell myself knowing that if i tell the truth there will be a bucket full of commotion, "I umm," I started unsure of myself, "I....I....er I was I just got lost" i finally decide that that's a good enough answer.
"Well I'm just glad your home," Brandon finally speaks up before continuing with, "now if you will excuse us we have business to attend to," and with that he walks straight past my parents, leading the way to his bedroom.
He sits at a desk and gestures for me to sit across from him, "what really happened?" he asks.
"I got lost plain and simple," I lie.
"Don't lie to me Megan now confess before I make you," did he just use his alpha tone on me?
"Fine I was kidnapped by a crazy lady who made me realize I'm not ready for this but it's going to happen anyway wether I'm ready or not so I have to face it head on," I rush out in one breath, before he engulfs me in a hug lightly pressing a kiss to my forehead. I lean into him breathing in his luxurious scent before I look up planting a firm kiss to his soft velvety lips. "thank you," I whisper before he lifts me up and pins me to the wall.
"For what," he whisper back.
"Everything," I say before fully letting my wolf take charge.
