As we walked out the door of the house it was silent, not an awkward silence but a good silence. After a while of walking we get to our neighborhoods park.
It's very small with a little playground some swings and a bench nestled in the corner. Brandon then leads me over to the bench. After a while of more silence Brandon finally says something, "Callie?" "Yeah B" "I, well, I ummmm, Just don't leave me ever again." He says his tone more serious then before and I can now see tears forming in his eyes.
"Brandon it's okay everything is-" B then interrupts me saying "No! No Callie everything isn't okay! When you left I was broken. When you left I wasn't myself. Callie, After you kissed me I was the happiest person in the world. But then you left! You left me for who knows where!" After he says this I can see it in his eyes, he just breaks.
Tears are now poring out of him and he refuses to look me. I really don't know where all this anger came from but I need to figure this out. "Hey Brandon, Shhh it's okay. I'm here now." I say pulling him closer to me. "I-I K-know" he stutters. "Then why are you telling me this now? You don't think it hurt me to leave you. Brandon. I love you. It tore my heart out when I had to leave." Brandon then looks back up at me with his soft sad eyes that make me want to melt and says "I'm sorry, I just had to get that out."
"It's okay. I understand. I was a wreck too." Brandon then sits up and wipes the wet tears from his face and says "look I'm sorry I even brought this up." "It's okay. Hey B." "Yeah Cal." He says back, looking me straight in the eye, "I love you Brandon. I always will." "I love you too." With that he crashes his lips onto mine. He takes me by my waist and pulls me in closer, I then bring my hand up to his hair and start playing with it as we kiss. After many minutes of this we both have to pull away to come up for air.
