"Stef... Something else is bothering you... What is it?" At this, I turned back to Lena.
"Uhm..."
"What is it, Stef?" She asked demandingly.
"How... How would you feel about..." I trailed off trying to figure out the best way to phrase it.
"About what?"
"How would you feel about fostering another child? It would just be for a few weeks..."
"Uhh... I think it's a bit ridiculous, Stef. We have five children as is and we already did this for Mike with AJ-"
"Lena, you don't even know why yet, though."
"Then why, Stef? Why would we bringing in another child if we can't give them the home they need forever?"
"So Monte can get her fostering license..." I looked down to the ground and then back at Lena. She was surprised at this statement.
"Monte?... Fostering a kid?... What?" She was so incredibly confused.
