We are runnin' so fast and we never look back.

"Are you kidding me!" She could hear her father boom from down the stairs. She quickly ran down them to keep him from getting even angrier.

"Yes sir," She squeaked out, she isn't this weak. Her father just likes to think she is. So, she gives the man what he wants.

"What is this?" He asks her pointing to a plate in the sink that he obviously just put in there five minutes earlier.

"I'm sorry sir, it won't happen again." She says, with her face pointed to the ground so that he can't see her clench her jaw together.

"Yea, it won't, because you will learn how to behave you slut." With that he slapped her across the face so hard she fell to the floor.

As she was standing up she found a new fire burning inside of her, and couldn't control what she said.

"Yes father. It will happen again, because I'm gone." She pushed him out of the way, grabbed a knife, and ran up the stairs. When she get to her room she locked the door, quickly grabbed a bag and called Jackson to ask him to meet her at their usual place. Since her dad is a fat, old drunk, it takes him a minute to get up the stairs, but once he got up here he wasn't very happy. So, as she's stuffing necessities into her bag, she could hear his banging on the door. It happens for a few minutes until it stops. She decided to ignore her newfound chill bumps, since she is almost done packing. She just needed to grab her laptop and charger.

She doesn't acknowledge the fact that she can hear him climbing the stairs again, and slides out the window. She started to shimmy down the roof to the gutter when she heard gunshots. My dad is actually trying to kill me she thought. She dropped her bag into one of the bushes below, and then jumped into the one beside it.

"Sophia Grace! Where are you!" She heard him boom from her old room above her.

Without him even realizing she ran around the house and to her car, got in, and drove away leaving her house for forever.

She pushed the button for her cds to play, and listened to the soothing voice of Halsey. Until she finally got to her and Jackson's favorite place, Pizza Hut. This was the first place they met. He was her cashier, and he also had to clean the table for her to sit down at. When she had finally got to sit down, she found his number written on a napkin.  They've been with each other ever since.

When he walked in he came over and pulled her into a hug, knowing that something with her dad happened. Her problems always revolved around her dad.

"Talk to me about it, Soph." So she explained what happened.

She loved talking to Jackson, he has these eyes that show that he is like truly caring for, and listening to you. They always show when he was around her, at school she knew that he had a rough time. People just don't see him in the same light that she does. Jackson is super tall, but also super scrawny. He constantly gets beat up about it if she's not around. She's never understood it. Jackson is literally the sweetest guy on the face of the planet, so how could someone beat him up for the way he looks. Honestly she thought that he was the hottest guy at her school.

When she finished telling him what happened, he came around the booth and engulfed her in another hug. When he released her he said, "Let's run away, fast. We won't ever look back."
