~Hyrule Warriors~ Link x Reader

~The Sorceress of the Woods~

After making it out of the caves, you and the others finally made it to Faron Woods, with a hidden village within it.

Unfortunately, this place too was being taken over by monsters.

Impa was hesitant and wanted to keep searching for Zelda, but you and Link were determined to assist the broken village, thus convincing Impa to do the same.

You followed Link as he rushed to the entrance to the keep.

One of the soldiers had been knocked down by a monster, and to your surprise, the group of monsters that had been inside the keep was quickly disposed of by large orbs of lighting that seemingly came from nowhere.

A young woman with long blue hair and purple eyes descended. She rushed to the injured soldier and lifted them up with her free hand, the other was holding some kind of book. The man's injury was soon surrounded with a bright blue light.

Link ran over and took down the remainders, giving an occasional yell or grunt as he swung his sword, one of the monsters landed by the woman.

When she saw Link she had a look in her eye you couldn't quite figure out.

"You..." You heard her whisper.

Impa and Sheik walked up to her.

"Are you the one leading these warriors?" Impa asked with her usual, serious tone.

One of the other soldiers helped the injured one to their feet and carried them away, allowing the woman to stand.

"Yes, I am. My name is Lana." She stated.

Link sheathed his sword and looked back, watching as you caught up with them, you stood by him once you did.

"I am Impa. I saw that you can use magic. Where did you learn your craft?" Impa continued.

"Oh, well... I'm a sorceress. You know the one who started this war? Cia? We come from the same magical clan."

Impa looked slightly surprised.

"Ah, well that explains it..."

"And what does this 'Cia' want from Hyrule?"

The girl known as Lana held her book in her arms.

"You really want to know? Well..." She had a somewhat devious look in her eye for a moment.

She put a hand on her hip and smiled.

"Help me defend the forest."

She tilted her head.

"If you do that, I might tell you." She gave a small giggle.

Everyone looked at eachother for a moment, wondering if they should agree.

Lana's attention was suddenly captured by another large group of green monsters heading towards the base. She ran off, causing Impa and Sheik to follow after her.

"I guess we're helping her then?" You looked at Link, who was already looking at you.

Link looked as confused as you did, but he gave a nod and motioned for you to follow him as he took off as well.

You did as he asked and armed yourself for any monsters that got in your path.

You gulped as you heard a familiar raspy and cold voice yell out.

"Scatter those Hyrulean pests! Exterminate them!"

The wizard was back.

"So that wizards in charge, huh? I bet if we defeat him, the monsters will leave." Lana stated.
