I would like to thank _kaptain for such an amazing book cover of Barefoot Cinderella. I swear, I cannot even do anything close to something like that.

"There are really some things in this world wherein that thin line between fantasy and reality suddenly perishes."
Fantasy and reality were entirely two different things, and when mixed up, tend to result in a rather peculiar compendium of poorly fragmented hearts. Simply put, they weren't a perfectly compatible combination because not only do they detonate themselves, but also, the things surrounding them are much in a state of calamity.
However, for Cinderella and Zach, things might go capriciously, starting off with the way they converged that one fateful night when things really did go bump.
***
There wasn't anything remarkable about Zach Cantrell. He was a prince — a ravishing, beautiful prince to be exact — but that's all there is to it, and that alone doesn't make him any more special and distinct to a maiden named Cinderella who was perceptive enough to know that meddling with a prince would be akin to suicide.
But unknowingly, Cinderella finds herself thrown in a labyrinthine wherein people slaughter, society cankers and love can only be paid or replaced.
It was a battle of fire and ice, heaven and earth, good and evil, rich and poor, chicken and pork, and love and hate.
A battle wherein no one gets to bring home the bacon.
