“I’m going on a mission.”
A mission!
I turned to him and threw the sponge, “FINISH OFF YOUR SENTENCE AND STOP MAKING PEOPLE WONDER!” the tears fell and I slowly wiped them with the back of my forearm. Bubbles infested my hands as I noticed I was crying even louder.
Kakashi came close to me, “No, go away!” I turned to the sink and sobbed.
His arms wrapped themselves around my waist.
“Kakashi…”
He placed his chin on my shoulder, “It’s been so long, thank you for coming back into my life. You’re the only one left.”
My face felt as if it was burning, I was blushing so much that I couldn’t move, “Kakashi, you should rest.”
He cocked his head back and placed a soft kiss onto my cheek, “Thank you…”
Dawn broke and Kakashi was well and truly up and ready to go, “Kakashi, I packed this for you.”
He smiled and gave me a reassuring smile, “I’ll be back.”
“I didn’t say you wouldn’t!” He made his way out the door, “Kakashi wait!” I ran to him and gave him a hug, “Be careful okay!”
He stared down at me and smiled, “I said I would be back!”
Days went by, but not as fast as I thought. I felt lonely without Kakashi near me. His presents went all along with him. The war was still going on but nothing had affected the village, this was the great Hidden Leaf Village of course.
There was a knock at the door, “Hello?”
I quickly made my way and opened the door, “Yes?”
“Kakashi I-” There was a man in a green jumpsuit and had a bowl haircut, “Pardon me, my name is Guy. Is Kakashi here?”
I opened the door wider. He seemed nice, “No, he went out on a mission.”
He frowned, “Okay, well tell Kakashi I came by.”
He began to make his way down the stairs, “Wait!”
He turned to my direction and stood on the lower steps, “My name is Zaracheal, are you a ninja?”
He grew a smile from ear to ear and threw his fist in front of him showing off his thumb, “I am the Youthful ninja!” His teeth sparkled, “Why?”
“Could you teach me your ways?”
Training took my mind off everything. We had started the day after I had asked him. I packed food for the both of us not knowing that he had other people there.
“I’m Lee and this is Ten-Ten and Neji!” He looked similar to Guy, “What is your name?”
“My name is Zarachael,” I smiled, “I hope there is enough food for everyone!”
“Aren’t you a bit old to be a student?” It was Neji that spoke.
I sighed, “Yeah.”
“There is no such thing if you’re under the gliding wings of Guy Sensei! He is the power of Youth!” Lee pumped his fist into the air.
I laughed and soon heard Ten-Ten giggle along with me.
Guy jumped down off a tree, “First things first, Zarachael have you had any experiences?”
I nodded, “Yes Guy Sensei!”
“Right, we’ll start off with a youthful jog to warm the body.”
The hours of training were long, before I knew it the sun was setting.
“Alright, good job everyone!” Everyone had literally sat down and breathed loudly.
“Who’s hungry?” I lifted my hand high above my head, it was because I was hungry too, and saw that everyone else had done the same but one. It was Neji.
I brought out the small bag and pulled out three sandwiches, two water bottles and ten fried octa-winnies. Even at the small amount everyone but Neji ate. We all parted and shared, it made me feel all warm inside.
“Delicious!” I smiled as Lee comment.
“Alright see you guys tomorrow!”
Guy Sensei had decided to walk me back to the Kakashi’s apartment when he began to ask how I came to know Kakashi. I explained our past together and how I had forgotten most of my memories because I was under a jutsu.
“Are you and Kakashi lovers?”
L… Love… Lovers?
I never thought about it, but we did kiss. What does it make us? I was deep in my thoughts that I hadn’t realised I was at the bottom of the apartment building already.
Guy was still intently listening.
“No.” I replied.
He laughed and scratched the back of his head, “Oh sorry, I just though because you lived with him and all.”
I smiled politely and thanked him, we said our goodbyes and we headed our separate ways. Tomorrow was going to be another hectic day of training.
