Waking the next morning, I was feeling refreshed and had a feeling today was going to be a pretty good day. But even today is going to have some problems. As I grabbed everything that I needed, i walked out my room and headed down the steps. I could hear shuffling, but I figured it actually could be Porsche, since she might have decided to go to school today.
"Well look what the angles sent from heaven?"
I saw August heading my way, as he walked into the door from the outside. A light smile came across my face.
"Morning to you too." I said softly.
"You'll be okay today?" He asked. I heard slight concern in his voice.
"Yep, I think I will be good. Thanks for asking."
He cleared his throat some. "Look at you, all cute today."
"Well, I do have a lot to do today." I said, sitting my purse on the couch, looking for my car keys. I swear I thought I had them in here last night.
"Here."
August hung my car keys in his hands right in front of my face, in a teasing manner and a smirk on his face.
"What did you do to my car?" I said, snatching the keys out his hands.
"Why so violent?" He touched my chin playfully, wrapping his arms around me.
"What did you do to it?" I questioned him again, feeling him pull me into a hug, sitting his chin on my shoulder.
"August, I'm not playing-"
"Have a great day at school, call me if you need anything." He lightly kissed my cheek and pulled back from me and headed back upstairs. I was a little confused and shook my head, grabbing my things.
I grinned to myself and headed outside to put my things I'm the vehicle. It was a little cool outside, but the temperature was perfect for my today's mood. Walking to the car door, I opened the door seeing a rose and a teddy bear with chocolates wrapped in a cute little designed back. "Aw this is so cute." I mumbled to myself grabbing the things. He might be corny sometimes, but Aug has his ways.
