Walking from my best friend house, as all the boys in her neighborhood flirted and act thirsty .. I thought about taking a shot at love again ..

Even though I said I was done .. i needed to be loved , like momma told me "Streets don't love nobody".

Opening my front door i smelled my stepdad cooking again .

I love my stepdad, he treats my family like he always been around. My father ? Man , he don't care . He just around just so he can act like he did something .

Walking in , my mother grilled me . She gave me one of those "where the hell have you been" looks . Sometimes i felt my mother hated me more then anything .

Ignoring her stare , I paced to the steps , only to be stopped in my track by her yell .

"Where the hell you going ! " she said .

I Was -

"You know what time i told your ass to be home , you wanna keep taking me for granted ?! " she said cutting me off .

I would answer but I'm just going to let her get it out .

She said nothing more so i ran up the steps ignoring her mumble .

Walking into my room I was instantly annoyed by the stare from my younger sister. I hated her guts .. she got on my nerve i wanted to punch her right there .

Shes a 9 year old dark skin almost my height , thicker then me , annoying and shy .

Acting as if i didn't see her i grabbed my towel and ran into the bathroom , turned on the shower and hopped in .

Feeling the hot water run on my chest made me feel relaxed . At that moment everything escaped my mind , stress was released , pain was soothing and sound was blank . Taking a shower was my favorite part of the day . Without it i would probably murder somebody .

Destroying my thoughts there was a knock at the door , then following a bang ..

I turned off the shower .
"who is it ?!" I yelled .
But there was no reply .
