Dani's POV
I'm very nervous. I'm always nervous before performance. Especially today. We all have to do our best because Simon Cowell is coming to see if we are good enough. I hope we will because it's Katherine's dream, and also, if we're good buddies with Simon, we'll maybe meet One Direction! I'm so excited!
Announcer: So, now, here are Cimorelli!
My throat was dry. Simon told a lot of people that they're voices weren't beautiful and they should stop singing. I just hope he's not going to tell us this.
We walked on stage.
Announcer: So hi girls! Can you tell me who is who please?
Christina: I'm Christina and I'm 23.
Kath: I'm Katherine and I'm 21.
Lisa: I'm Lisa and I'm 20.
Amy: I'm Amy and I'm 18.
Lauren: I'm Lauren and I'm 15.
Dani: I'm Dani and I'm 13.
Us: And we're Cimorelli!
Christina: We are all sisters from Malibu, in California.
Announcer: What are you going to sing to us?
Christina: Our fans helped us. They proposed "Made In America". It's one of our originals but you guys might don't know what it is. So, we decided to do "Skyscraper".
We chose "Skyscraper" because Lisa was just amazing in this cover. Also, I think that the background voices are matching with the song too. Whatever.
The music started and Amy sang. Her voice was so beautiful. Then was Christina's turn. She did awesome too. After, it was me.
But I was too excited by the fact that I'm maybe going to meet One Direction. I forgot it was my turn.
Christina, who was next to me, had to tell me: Dani! It's your turn.
Oops. I sang. Fortunately, I didn't make any other mistakes.
I looked at Katherine. She wasn't very happy. She did her best and it was very beautiful. But I think that she wanted all to be perfect.
Then, Lauren sang her part beautifully as usual then, it was Lisa's turn.
When she began her first high note, Simon was amazed. I could hear everyone saying "OH MY GOSH!"
I began to clap my hands.
Then, I realized that I had to sing a special note. I forgot again. Oops.
When we all finished, tears were coming up in my throat.
Kath wasn't happy at all. She was mad at me.
The public applauded and everything was alright until Kath talked to me.
Kath: Why Dani why?
Me: I'm sorry Kath. I didn't mean to. I was too excited. Sorry.
Kath: I'm so happy that Lisa exist! If she wasn't here, I'm sure that Simon would say "no". He accepted because Lisa and us, except you Dani. You know that it was my dream. And you ruined it.
Then, she left. I started to cry. Did she think that I was making mistakes on purpose? No I didn't! You want a proof? Well, when Simon said "yes", I didn't even hear it because I was shaking. I was shaking because I knew I made mistakes and I wasn't proud of me at all.
I cried a lot you know. If someone was making a mistake and we were in front of 1D, I'd be disappointed. Because we are humans. We learn of our mistakes.
