The Change;

It’s an odd sensation to fall in love,

Almost like your light,

You keep smiling, smiling,

Smiling, smiling bright.

Brighter than the sun, your cheeks feel raw and sore,

Until you see something,

That just makes you fall.

Your eyes are now, a darker shade and hue,

You feel you’re going a darker blue,

Your days are no longer sweet,

As that nicest treat,

They used to give you, when you were feeling under the weather,

The weather which is now,

Doom and gloom,

Without his warmth,

What really are you?
