"Put your backs into it!" Ruby yelled at her family members while standing on top of the kitchen table. "I want everything spotless before Weiss comes over tomorrow!"

"I'm trying, I'm trying," Yang whined, scrubbing wildly at a stain on the kitchen sink. "Jeez, Ruby. I've never seen you this serious about anything before."

"You've been to her house," Ruby reminded her, jumping off the table. "You know how clean it is there. I want her to feel as much at home as possible!"

Taiyang chuckled as he vacuumed the floor. "And here I thought we were just doing some spring cleaning," he teased. "Are you ever going to tell me about this Weiss before I see her?"

Yang piped up. "Oh, she's her girl-"

Ruby smacked her hand over Yang's mouth at record speed. "I made friends with her at the beginning of the year!" she interrupted.

"But what am I supposed to expect?" Taiyang asked, ignoring his daughter's unusual behavior.

Ruby hesitantly removed her hand from Yang's face.

"She's super rich, so you should probably dress up fancy and clean up that beard," Yang immediately blurted.

"Oh my," Taiyang sighed. "Time to dig into my suitcase again. Ruby, honey, would you mind taking over the vacuum for me? You're the one who wants a clean house, after all."

"But-"

He left the room before Ruby could finish, throwing Yang a little wink as he passed. She smirked at him in response.

"It's your goal to humiliate me to the point of no return, isn't it?" Ruby grumbled.

"Nothing more, nothing less," Yang confirmed with a grin.

"You had best not disappoint," Weiss warned Ruby as they reached the parking lot after school. "It took quite a bit of effort to convince my father that I would be studying until 6:30 on a Friday evening. It's usually the only weekday I have any free time."

"Trust me, you won't regret it!" Ruby promised, practically skipping along in excitement.

"Who's picking us up?" Weiss finally asked. The loud roar of a motorcycle engine answered the question for her.

"Hey there, small fries," Yang said, pulling up on her trusty Bumblebee and yanking off her helmet for a breather. "Ready to hit the road?"

"I-I'm not sure this is safe," Weiss stammered. "The law states only two passengers are allowed on a standard motorcycle."

"Psh. Bumblebee ain't no ordinary bike," the daredevil blonde retorted, a mischievous glint in her eyes. "Plus, I brought an extra helmet. Penny uses it all the time."

"Penny...?" Alright, Weiss convinced herself. If that frail little girl can handle a three-passenger ride, so can I. "Fine," she agreed. "Give me the helmet."

The two girls geared up, and Ruby gestured for Weiss to hop on the bike. "Thought you'd feel more secure sitting," she explained, leaving out the part that she didn't think Weiss could stay standing in the back the entire way home. It was harder than it seemed.

Weiss didn't question it and swung her leg over the side of the motorcycle, seating herself as comfortably as she could. "If you get a ticket, I never knew you," Weiss threatened.

Yang just laughed as Ruby piled on, standing on the extra foot handles Yang had installed for occasions such as this. "We're gonna have to hang on to each other so we don't fall off," Ruby instructed. "Sloth mode, activate!"
