Chapter one characters
Moonlight: silver wolf with brown eyes.
Sparrow: dark brown wolf with a blond stripe down his back (moonlights older brother and top beta next in line for alpha) BlackWolf: moonlight, and sparrow's father also pack leader, pure jet black fur several scars on his snout and yellow aging eyes.
Satary: second head beta with dark gray fur, black paws and blue eyes.
Moonlight was walking in the woods alone, only a few moons old she knew she should not be wandering about alone.
"It is so nice to be alone!" "No other betas bossing me around saying I'm small and to young, I'll show them, I'll...I'll ... I will hunt and then I'll show them!" Moonlight exclaimed
"Now where can that stupid fur ball be?!" "Sparrow will have my tail if I don't find her soon, its getting late." Satary muttered under his breath.(barking in the distance) "Oh no the patrol is coming my way I'll be in so much trouble if I am caught empty pawed!"
"Satary what are you doing!" A beta asked
" I-uh- well ...."
"There is a bear on Moon territory we chased it in this direction have you seen,heard, or scented it?" The wolf asked
"No I have not I'm busy pup watching" Satary mumbled
"Pup watching huh?, I don't see a pup here. "Wait let me guess you lost Moonlight again huh? (snickers from other wolves in the back)
"Be very careful to whom you are talking to beta, remember i am the second best beta, which means I can easily have you on omega ranking watching pups and cleaning dens!" Satary growled back.
"All right calm your fur I will be on my way we have better things to do than throw hissy fits over rankings I have a bear to catch."
"Then you best be on your way" Satary called after. "Moonlight!, where are you?!" All of the sudden an ear splitting bear roar in the trees behind Satary. "Oh no" Satary gasped
"Woah, a bear!" Moonlight exclaimed from behind a few bramble bushes.
"Moonlight get back!" Satary yelped as the bear began charging towards Moonlight. Moonlight stood with a bit of fear and amazement locked into her brown eyes. "Moonlight move!"
*moonlight gasps* as the bear nearly misses her snout with his claws. With the heat of the bear's breath close to her pelt Moonlight leaps over to the left nearly stumbling upon Satary. Moonlight then goes flying by a powerful nudge as she slips onto a branch not far above.
"Moonlight get back to the moon campburrows, get some help!" Satary called over his shoulder dodging a blow from the bear. Just then the bear came close to the tree just a few wolf tails away moonlight knew what to do.
"They are to far I cant run as fast yet, I know what to do." Moonlight said under her breath.
Moonlight jumped off the branch and onto the bear's head clawing frantically at its eyes,
"Moonlight get off of there!" Satary yelled just as the bear fell into a rock patch as it caves in piercing it's skull ."Moonlight, you just killed that bear." Satary said getting up walking towards her.
"I- I'm sorry no didn't mean to kill him I was trying to help you!" Moonlight said with worry
"No moonlight I'm not angry with you, I'm proud. You are the youngest wolf ever to have killed a bear. Your father will be very proud of you, now let's get back to moon campburrows and report the bear, also we will get you something to eat how does deer sound?"
"Great, I am famished!"Moonlight exclaimed as she and satary padded off.
Author's note: sorry this first chapter is kinda bad its been a while since I wrote a narrative I hope you liked it an I will try to update as much as I can but it might be hard because of school, you know what I mean. I'm currently in 8th grade 2016-17 and its kinda tough. I will also try to add some drawings into my story staring with the next chapter see you guys soon.🌙
