~Westy's POV~
about 10:30pm
I snuck out to go to my friends house party but when I got there my friend was passed out on the his front lawn so I decided to just go for a walk I walked in the park for about an hour and then sat on bench by the pond and looked at the reflection of the moon get distorted by the ripples on the pond taking a deep breath I closed my eyes and listened to the sound of the crickets, when I opened my eyes I looked at the moon once more and then got up and started walking to the bus stop, I looked at my phone and it was 11pm.
when I got to the bus stop I sat down on the bench, it was about 12:30 and I looked at my phone hoping my parents didn't call me. When I looked up and saw someone walking towards me as the person got closer I could make out that it was a girl she had a oversized sweatshirt, well over sized for her small body she wore ripped jeans and white high top converse. She had the hood of the sweat shirt pulled up so I couldn't really see her face. when the bus came I got up and offered the girl a hand but she didn't notice me I guess but then she wiped her cheeks with the sleeve that covered her hands and got up, I guess she was crying but I didn't notice she was. she grabbed her bag and got on the bus I followed, once we got on the bus not a lot of people were on the bus which wasn't surprising because it was getting late. She went all the way to the back and sat down, I sat on the far right of her by the window she looked up at me as I sat down I looked down at her and she looked away quickly but before she looked away I looked into her eyes, her blue almost white eyes, they looked familiar but I don't know where I have seen them before or if I have even seen these eyes before. I sat down and looked out the window for a while, it was silent on the bus almost too quiet. I looked over at the girl she was looking out the window. I scooted over a set and tapped her shoulder "hey I'm Westy but most people call me West." she looked into my eyes and tears started to form in her eyes, I didn't care why she was cry I knew she needed someone, I scooted to the seat next her and put my arm around her, she leaned in and cried into my chest, I didn't even know this girl's name but yet it felt she was an old friend. I felt her pull away but not full just enough to look up at me I looked down at her we just sat there starring in to each others eyes. she broke the stare and looked out the window "My name is Kurby" she said in a soft voice "Where are you going" I asked "anywhere but where I was" she said with a little laugh in her tone.
